My Actifit RC: Mar 4nd 23 - Arranged marriage of plants - IAAC #296

A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.

A flow of maritime polar air was shielded from the Alps and Italy was saved from a frost at the beginning of March. The beautiful country, however, ended up in a constant stream of unstable Atlantic air, fortunately, the sea no longer generates strong storm having cooled consistently. The weather is cloudy but the temperatures are now springing.

At this point you can begin maintenance work on my plants. This log of happiness had reached the ceiling height of the balcony. I had to reproduce it by cutting. In the cupboard I had an open jar of honey but forgot them for a long time and I used it to put it at the base of the log and stimulate the growth of the roots of the new cutting.

At the base of the log of happiness I planted a delicious Monstera. A beautiful undergrowth plant that grows by clinging to the trunk of other plants. Monstera already had very developed aerial roots that I used to attach to the other plant. I hope they’re happy with the marriage I arranged.
We hope they pass a fantastic long honey.

After this afternoon of gardening I spent the evening on the promenade of Mergellina where I walked for a long time with a friend of mine.

To my amazement I was able to admire, finally cleared from the restoration site, the Fountain of the Giant in all its majestic splendor. This wonderful work by Pietro Bernini and Michelangelo Nazzareno dates back to the time of the Duke of Alba of Toledo who commissioned it in the seventeenth century.

Throughout its history it has been moved a lot of times because of the hectic growth of the maritime districts and only at the beginning of the '900 it found its current position which, to tell the truth, I do not like as it is very much in the background and should be put, in my humble opinion, in the middle of a large square in the middle of the green.

Before getting lost in the magical lights of the promenade Caracciolo I celebrate my #iamalivechallenge 296 after a very intense #alive day and I leave you to the final greetings.
