My Actifit RC: Dec 9 2023 - Walking discovering light in the darkness

A spectacular sunset closes the day on Saturday and gives us a beautiful evening that we can not celebrate with a great walk.

Suddenly we come out in the square of Montesanto and we can admire the luminous effects of the Christmas decorations on the church of Santa Maria.

In the descent In Piazza Carità you can walk very difficult as a flood of tourists occupies every space of the street, staying in the restaurants and shopping.

Via Toledo is really very crowded and I plan to get to Spaccanapoli so I think a shortcut down to Piazza Matteotti and I enter the Ancient Naples passing near the church of Santa Maria la Nova.

The walk ends in this characteristic alley with many restaurants really very beautiful and scenic where you can bivouac in a unique and unparalleled atmosphere.

The decumans are streets that on Saturday evening are usually very crowded and now with Christmas the quadruple crowding because they are all destined to visit the way of the shepherds or San Gregorio Armeno.

The silhouette of the basilica of Santa Chiara giganteggia bright and imposing in the middle of the other lower buildings and heralds the entrance into my favorite square or Piazza del Gesù.

Arrived in the beautiful dpiazzale of the old Neapolitan city I immediately noticed that the crown had been placed on the head of the statue of the Immaculate Madonna that is on top of the beautiful spire that characterizes the square.

Photographing the monuments in these evenings becomes really very difficult as you risk being overwhelmed by tourists who walk fast in the narrow streets.

In this beautiful square ends my long walk through Naples as here I have an appointment with friends to spend pleasant hours at the bar chatting about more and less.

I greet the friends of the Silver League of #poliac that is always becoming more exciting and full of twists and turns and all the friends of the We Are #Alive tribe and finally all the legendary pioneers of the blockchain of #hive.
