Siamo a Piazza Garibaldi la sera del 23 maggio 2025 e già nell'aria si avverte che questo giorno sarà speciale per la città anche se sembra che sia tutto tranquillo in questo angolo di paradiso ai piedi della statua del valorosissimo Giuseppe Garibaldi.

Ma si sa Napoli è una città edificata ed architettata tra due grandissimi vulcani e sotto cova il fuoco di un grande entusiasmo come testimoniato dalle immagini che arrivano da Piazza del Plebiscito e la basilica di San Francesco di Paola fa da sfondo ad una marea di lava azzurra.

Mentre uno spettacolare tramonto cala sulla città si è in trepidante attesa degli ultimi 90 minuti del campionato di soccer italiano che sta regalando delle emozioni mai viste prima per un torneo di calcio della nostra nazione in quanto Inter e Napoli si stanno giocando il titolo fino all'ultimo minuto, fino all'ultima goccia di sudore.

Momenti difficili ci sono stati la domenica scorsa in quanto gli ultimi 15 minuti hanno riservato emozioni e colpi di scena ed un alternanza delle due squadre al vertice della classifica che ha visto prevalere poi la squadra napoletana proprio nei minuti di recupero ed oggi i calciatori sono entrati allo stadio in un'atmosfera caldissima quasi una bolgia infernale come testimonia l'immagine della gente festante in mezzo ai fumogeni che accoglieva il pullman partenopeo che entrava agli stadio.

La tensione era alle stelle nei minuti iniziali della partita ed il primo tempo ci ha riservato non poche palpitazioni ed ha messo a dura prova le nostre coronarie mentre qualcuno dai tavolini si è permesso anche il lusso di fare uno scherzo al resto degli avventori del Pub e non è stato proprio preso bene.

L'unico risultato che serviva alla squadra partenopea era la vittoria in quanto l'Inter aveva subito sbloccato la partita che giocava a Como ed era in netto vantaggio contro la squadra di casa e ciò metteva pressione ai calciatori che sentivano pesanti le loro falcate sul terreno di gioco e che avevano la dura responsabilità di un milione di cuori azzurri che assistevano a questo meraviglioso spettacolo e che attendevano i loro goal per festeggiare l'agognato titolo 2024/2025.

In questi momenti così difficili il fuoriclasse scozzese Scott Mac Tominay ha tirato fuori una prestazione magistrale coronandola con uno spettacolare gol in semi rovesciata che ha sbloccato la partita e mettendo il sigillo finale ad una formidabile sua prima stagione in maglia azzurra. Non c'è dubbio il volto di questo spettacolare campionato è il suo.

L'esultanza del gol è stata lunghissima ed in pochi secondi sono cominciati i festeggiamenti che sono durati tutta la notte intervallati dal gol di Romelu Lukaku che ha posto Il sigillo definitivo alla partita in una arrembante azione solitaria che ha devastato la difesa del Cagliari e ha chiuso definitivamente la partita sul 2-0.

I festeggiamenti sono stati pari alla sofferenza che abbiamo patito in questo assurdo finale di stagione e che ha visto prevalere la squadra di Napoli regalandole il quarto titolo italiano della sua storia.
