Actifit RC: Nov 24th '25 - Traveling through the storm

On Monday, the peninsula was hit by a furious Atlantic disturbance, which put me in a less than ideal position to go out in less than ideal weather conditions, but I absolutely had to make an appointment with an important medical visit I needed to make.

In recent days, the cold wave has been so exceptional that it has also blanketed the summit of Vesuvius and partially that of Monte Somma, which is not exactly perfectly visible thanks to the wonderful vegetation present on the companion peak of the majestic volcano, which has contributed to making the panorama of the Neapolitan city unique and famous.

While waiting my turn to perform Doppler ultrasound of the arterial and venous vessels in my legs, a friend of mine contacted me because he had had a serious problem with his nextcloud server and the attached domain. Even though I had postponed an appointment today due to the terrible weather conditions, I was unable to do the same with this urgent need from someone I consider important.

I am grateful, however, that when I then had to move, it was always in those moments when there were no violent showers of rain, which was quite miraculous on a day when we were hit by this Atlantic storm that reached Campania in the conditions most favorable to heavy rainfall.

And as the evening lights roll over the city, it's time to say goodbye to all of Hive's extraordinary blockchain pioneers, companions of this wonderful adventure in the crypto social bastion of what the world of tomorrow will be.

Viaggiando attraverso la tempesta

Nella giornata di lunedì la penisola è stata raggiunta da una furiosa perturbazione atlantica il che mi metteva in condizioni di uscire con condizioni meteorologiche tutt'altro che ideali ma non potevo assolutamente mancare all'appuntamento con un importante visita medica che dovevo fare.

Nei giorni scorsi l'ondata di freddo è stata talmente eccezionale che ha imbiancato anche la cima del Vesuvio e parzialmente anche quella del Monte Somma che non è proprio perfettamente visibile grazie alla meravigliosa vegetazione presente sulla vetta compagna del maestoso vulcano che ha contribuito a rendere unico e celebre il panorama della città partenopea.

Mentre attendevo il mio turno per effettuare l'ecodoppler dei vasi arteriosi e venosi delle mie gambe un mio amico mi ha contattato poiché aveva avuto un grave problema con il proprio server nextcloud e con il dominio annesso e anche se oggi avevo rinviato un appuntamento per le tremende condizioni meteo non ho potuto fare lo stesso con questa impellente necessità di una persona che reputo importante.

Sono comunque grato che quando ho dovuto poi spostarmi è stato sempre in quei momenti in cui non ci sono stati violenti scrosci di pioggia il che è stato alquanto miracoloso in una giornata in cui siamo stati investiti in pieno da questa tempesta Atlantica che ha raggiunto la Campania nelle condizioni più favorevoli alle precipitazioni corpose.

E mentre le luci della sera calano sulla città è arrivato il momento di salutare tutti gli straordinari pionieri della blockchain di Hive compagni di questa meravigliosa avventura nel crypto social baluardo di quello che sarà il mondo di domani.
