The Sun Rises Again but...

(image from Negros Updates) After the floodwaters finally receded and the sky gradually cleared, a fragile calm seemed to settle over the land. The sun rose once again, casting its warm light across the drenched earth, but the air was heavy with an unshakable sadness. Just when it seemed the worst had passed, tragedy struck anew. An enormous fire erupted in the neighborhood and filled the air with smoke and despair.
