Lo primero que me sorprendió fue ver a Ancelotti jugando sin Tchouameni ni Camavinga. No me pareció una elección acertada porque estos son los únicos centrocampistas que se sienten cómodos jugando como el principal responsable del lado defensivo y esto me llevó a creer que el Madrid iba a tener dificultades para detener los ataques de su rival.
Esta falta de un centrocampista defensivo adecuado desde el comienzo del partido fue probablemente la razón por la que Kroos, Valverde y Ceballos se sintieron un poco incómodos en la primera mitad. Los centrocampistas defensivos son necesarios para que el equipo tenga un equilibrio adecuado y cuando no hay ninguno, todo el equipo sufre.
El centro del campo era la única zona donde no estaba de acuerdo con Ancelotti. También hizo rotaciones en la defensa, pero esto era comprensible y no hubo ningún desequilibrio con la adición de Rudiger y Vázquez a la alineación.
En el ataque, dado que Benzema está lesionado, Hazard jugó en esa posición pero su rendimiento podría haber sido mejor como siempre. Sorprendentemente, lo mismo podría decirse de Vinicius. Parecía estar confundido sobre la mejor manera de proceder con sus ataques, y constantemente perdía balones una y otra vez.
Encontré esta mala actuación muy inesperada porque Vinicius ha estado jugando extremadamente bien en todos los partidos de esta temporada hasta ahora, pero hoy durante la primera mitad me recordó al viejo Vinicius de hace un par de años que fue muy ineficaz con sus intentos de ataque. No estoy seguro de si la ausencia de Benzema hizo que Vinicius se sintiera confundido, pero esto también podría haber sido un factor.
Sin embargo, en la segunda mitad, Vinicius ayudó a su equipo anotando un gol extremadamente importante y mejorando su rendimiento general.
Creo que el Real Madrid en su conjunto se sintió frustrado durante la primera mitad cuando no pudo romper adecuadamente el sistema defensivo del Mallorca, y las cosas solo empeoraron cuando el Mallorca anotó el primer gol del partido gracias a un excelente centro de Lee seguido de un cabezazo de Muriqi. El Real Madrid ahora se veía obligado a superar esta desventaja de 1 gol y sin Benzema en el campo, esto parecía algo muy difícil de hacer.
Las cosas cambiaron para mejor hacia el final de la primera mitad cuando Valverde anotó el que puede considerarse el mejor gol de su carrera hasta el momento. Recibió el balón en el propio terreno de juego del Madrid, y con el uso de su velocidad rápida y buen control del balón, pudo llegar al área del Mallorca por sí mismo, y desde esa zona, hizo un excelente disparo enviando el balón a la esquina superior de la red. Fue un disparo imparable y todo fue creado solo por Valverde.
The first thing that surprised me was to see Ancelotti playing without either Tchouameni or Camavinga. I didn't think this was a wise choice because these are the only midfielders who feel comfortable playing as the main responsible of the defensive side and this lead me to believe Madrid was going to have a hard time stopping its rival's attacks.
This lack of a proper defensive midfielder since the beginning of the match was probably the reason why Kroos, Valverde, and Ceballos felt a bit uncomfortable in the first half. Defensive midfielders are necessary for the team to have a proper balance and when there isn't any, the whole team suffers.
The midfield was the only zone of the pitch where I didn't agree with Ancelotti. He also did rotations in the defense but this was understandable and there wasn't any imbalance in adding both Rudiger and Vázquez to the lineup.
In the attack, given the fact Benzema is injured, Hazard played in that position but his performance could have been better as usual. Surprisingly, the same could be said about Vinicius. He seemed to be confused about the best way to proceed with his attacks, and he was constantly losing balls over and over again.
I found this bad performance very unexpected because Vinicius has been playing extremely well in all the matches of this season so far, but today during the first half he reminded me of the old Vinicius from a couple of years ago who was very ineffective with his attacking attempts. I am not sure if Benzema's absence made Vinicius feel confused, but this could have also been a factor.
In the second half though, Vinicius helped his team by scoring an extremely important goal and improving his overall performance.
I think Real Madrid as a whole was feeling frustrated during the first half when they were unable to properly break Mallorca's defensive system, and things only got worse when Mallorca scored the first goal of the match thanks to a terrific cross by Lee followed by a header by Muriqi. Real Madrid was now forced to overcome this 1 goal disadvantage and without Benzema on the pitch, this seemed like a very challenging thing to do.
Things turned around for the better towards the very end of the first half when Valverde scored what can be considered the best goal of his career so far. He received the ball on Madrid's own side of the pitch, and with the use of his fast speed and good control of the ball, he was able to reach Mallorca's area all by himself, and from that zone, he did an excellent shot sending the ball to the top corner of the net. It was an unstoppable shot and it was all created by Valverde alone.
El gol de Vinicius ocurrió a los 72 minutos, hubo una increíble conexión brasileña entre Rodrygo y Vinicius que permitió al Madrid tomar la delantera. Rodrygo hizo una excelente conducción del balón, similar a lo que Hazard siempre hizo durante sus días en el Chelsea. Cuando entró en el área le pasó el balón a Vinicius que con un hábil giro de dirección fue capaz de encontrar un buen ángulo y finalmente marcó un gol muy bonito con un disparo cruzado.
Este gol fue merecido porque el Real Madrid era el equipo que más atacaba y parecía que era cuestión de tiempo que el equipo anotara su segundo gol. Durante este tiempo, lo único que hacía el Mallorca era intentar resistir los ataques del Madrid y un poco más. Sin embargo, esto no impidió que el Mallorca atacara de vez en cuando, e incluso podría haber marcado su segundo gol antes del del Real Madrid, pero esta oportunidad se desaprovechó debido a un mal disparo.
Tras el gol, y con Modric y Kroos en el terreno de juego expertos en controlar el ritmo del partido, el balón comenzó a moverse más despacio y estaba claro que los jugadores del Madrid intentaban frenar las cosas porque ya tenían la ventaja.
Vinicius, sin embargo, intentó emocionar al público varias veces, algo que realmente le gusta hacer cuando juega en el Bernabéu, y el otro extremo brasileño, Rodrygo, creó una excelente jugada individual alrededor del minuto 89 en la que dribló a un par de defensores casi sin espacio y lo remató con un buen disparo cruzado.

Era poco probable que este disparo entrara debido a la ausencia de suficiente ángulo desde su posición, pero el portero no hizo un buen trabajo protegiendo su red.
Al final, el Real Madrid obtuvo una victoria muy sólida, y el hecho de que todos los goles se anotaron después de los 45 minutos, refuerza mi creencia de que este equipo actual del Real Madrid tiene una ventaja física importante sobre muchos rivales. Esto es posible no solo por tener a Pintus como preparador físico, sino también por la presencia de muchos jugadores más jóvenes como Vinicius, Rodrygo y Valverde, que son capaces de mantener un ritmo explosivo durante períodos de tiempo muy largos.

Sin Benzema, Militao y Tchouameni, el Real Madrid pudo continuar con sus victorias, y ahora hay 7 victorias seguidas si incluimos el primer partido de la Liga de Campeones, así como la Supercopa de Europa. El excelente comienzo de temporada continúa para el Real Madrid y el próximo partido será el miércoles contra el club alemán RB Leipzig.

Vinicius' goal happened at the 72-minute mark there was an amazing Brazilian connection between Rodrygo and Vinicius that allowed Madrid to take the lead. Rodrygo did a terrific conduction of the ball, similar to what Hazard always did during his Chelsea days. When he was entering the area he passed the ball to Vinicius who with a skilled turn of direction was able to find a good angle and ultimately he scored a very pretty goal with a crossed shot.
This goal was deserved because Real Madrid was the team attacking the most and it felt like it was a matter of time for the team to score their second goal. During this time, the only thing Mallorca was doing was trying to resist Madrid's attacks and a little more. Nevertheless, this didn't prevent Mallorca from doing attacks once in a while, and they could have even scored their second goal prior to Real Madrid's, but this opportunity was missed due to a bad shot.
After the goal, and with Modric and Kroos on the pitch who are experts at controlling the pace of the match, the ball started to move more slowly and it was clear that Madrid's players were trying to slow things down because they already had the lead.
Vinicius however, attempted to excite the public several times which is something he really likes to do when he plays at the Bernabéu, and the other Brazilian winger, Rodrygo, created a terrific individual play around the 89-minute mark in which he dribbled a couple of defenders with almost no space and he finished it off with a good crossed shot.
I thought the final result was going to be 3+1 but in the last few seconds of the match Real Madrid had a free kick that Kroos used to send the ball into the area looking for a header, and Rudiger, with his left foot, managed to shot the ball with little to no angle sending inside the net. This shot was unlikely to go inside due to the absence of enough angle from his position, but the goalkeeper didn't do an entirely good job protecting his net.
In the end, Real Madrid obtained a very solid victory, and the fact all of the goals were scored after the 45-minute mark, reinforces my belief that this current Real Madrid squad has an important physical advantage over many rivals. This is possible not only due to having Pintus as a fitness coach but also due to the presence of many younger players such as Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Valverde, who are able to keep up with an explosive pace for very long periods of time.
What's next?
Without Benzema, Militao, and Tchouameni, Real Madrid was able to continue with their victories, and there are now 7 victories in a row if we include the first Champions League match as well as the European SuperCup. The excellent beginning of the season continues for Real Madrid and the next match will be on Wednesday against the German club RB Leipzig.
This next week, there will be more good matches from the Champions League, and I am planning to hopefully be able to watch 2 of them.

Saludos amigo, tuve la oportunidad de ver este juego hoy por la mañana, de verdad que el Madrid, se veía muy concentrado, muy buenos pases y sobre todo siempre jugando en el campo contrario, la cual lo hizo maraca una ventaja de goles y por supuesto mantener todo el ritmo durante todo el partido logrando así una victoria. El comienzo de temporada ha sido mejor imposible con 7 victorias en 7 partidos. Un comienzo bastante prometedor y esperemos que ese nivel pueda continuar en los próximos meses.

El gol de Valverde fue una autentica locura, de hecho desde el momento desde que salió desde un poco detrás de la media cancha se sabía que su intención era pagarle al arco.
Y como siempre el Madrid haciendo goles en los instantes finales, siempre me va a impresionar eso, Es una firma que tiene su ADN por todos lados al punto que hasta Champions han ganado gracias a eso...

Valverde está jugando a un nivel brutal. Incluso en el partido anterior contra el Celtic, lo que hizo en el gol de Vini fuy increíble. Está siendo de lo mejor del Madrid actualmente sin duda.
Sobre los goles en minutos finales, es cierto que el Madrid tiende a hacer eso, pero últimamente creo que lo está haciendo incluso más que antes y pienso que tiene que ver con el estado de forma física de sus jugadores.

A mí también me sorprendió que no hubiera un volante de marca, pero quizás por el esquema con que juega el Mallorca, 5 defensores no lo vio necesario y en gran parte pienso que le fue bien, Mallorca siempre estuvo metido todos en su área.
Concuerdo que el cambio clave fue por Hazard, hoy fue bajito su rendimiento y Modric le dio creatividad que se necesitaba contra ese bloque de jugadores.
No había pensado en lo que dices, la forma física, tiene mucho sentido, terminar mejor que sus rivales en la segunda mitad y eso no es una casualidad.

Eso que dices quizás tuvo que ver, pero durante la primera parte el equipo no conseguía como marcar y el gol del Mallorca puso las cosas incluso más complicadas. Por suerte la explosividad de Valverde pudo salvar el primer tiempo.
Pintus es probablemente el mejor preparador físico de los principales clubes de Europa, tenerlo a él ha sido importante para disfrutar de segundas partes donde el Madrid domina, y eso incluye las remontadas en la Champions del año pasado.
Hoy fue un partido muy positivo porque con rotaciones y todo al final el resultado quedo bueno. Pero no hay que ignorar el hecho de que ya van 3 partidos de 5 en liga donde llega el minuto 70 y el Madrid aún no tiene un marcador a favor. Hasta ahora ha ganado todos, pero ese es un dato que debería preocupar así sea un poco.

El Madrid puede jugar bien, sufre y bastante, pero tiene demasiado talento como para ganar los partidos, sin embargo pienso que le gusta retar a la suerte, sin un nueve va a ser muy dificil, aunque Benzema no esta al máximo nivel, Valverde y Vini se estan echando el equipo al hombro.
Creo que Ancelotti aprovecho el encuentro contra el Mallorca para hacer rotaciones y darle descanso algunos jugadores, pero aparentemente están callando muchas bocas. Este Madrid es mucho corazón.

Yo también creo que sí Benzema no recupera su nivel el equipo va a tener muchos problemas eventualmente. Por ahora los resultados siguen siendo buenos gracias a los jugadores que comentas, pero Benzema es clave para poder ganar títulos.
