[ESP + ENG] El Real Madrid sufre un decepcionante empate sin goles ante Osasuna.

Después de la importante victoria en "El Clásico" este pasado fin de semana, el Real Madrid se enfrentaba ahora a Osasuna en su partido de LaLiga. A pesar de que el Real Madrid no está disfrutando de una gran temporada hasta ahora y ha habido varios partidos irregulares, sigue siendo el equipo mejor posicionado para ganar la liga. Antes de este partido, no estaban en la primera posición, pero eso es sólo porque la Real Sociedad ha jugado 1 partido más que ellos. Esto significa que cuando el Real Madrid juegue el partido restante podría superar o igualar a la Real Sociedad en puntos.
Osasuna, por su parte, está haciendo una gran temporada hasta el momento. Es un equipo que suele mantenerse en la mitad de la tabla. Actualmente están en los 10 primeros puestos de la tabla, están incluso por encima del Barcelona lo que sin duda es estupendo para ellos. Si siguen con este rendimiento creo que tienen algunas posibilidades de participar en competiciones europeas la próxima temporada, sin embargo, esto no será una hazaña fácil.
Me alegró ver que Ancelotti incluyó en la alineación a 2 jugadores que no han participado mucho en los partidos anteriores, me refiero a Camavinga y Asensio, que ocuparon las posiciones que Modric y Rodrygo tuvieron en los 2 partidos anteriores. Es sano para la plantilla rotar a los jugadores y dar oportunidades a todos. Además, estas rotaciones también evitan que los jugadores principales sufran de fatiga acumulada. De hecho, me gustaría que otros delanteros jugaran más minutos y dieran más descanso a Benzema, Jovic y Mariano son lo suficientemente buenos como para justificar más tiempo en el campo para ellos.
Mi expectativa de este partido era ver al Real Madrid dominando todo, pero no necesariamente marcando demasiados goles. Esperaba una victoria sólida del Madrid pero sin que fuera una carnicería porque Osasuna como dije antes, ha demostrado que es más competitivo de lo habitual, y derrotarlo no debería ser fácil para ningún equipo.
¿Cómo estuvo el partido?
El partido comenzó y el Real Madrid se hizo inmediatamente con el control del balón. Varias veces consiguieron acercarse al área de Osasuna mientras que éste sólo fue capaz de pisar brevemente el lado del campo del Real Madrid. La calidad de las jugadas de ataque del Real Madrid no eran espectaculares pero la consistencia es importante, y estaba claro que si el Real Madrid seguía jugando con el mismo control, marcar un gol era cuestión de tiempo.
Estuve prestando especial atención a Asensio, para ver si su inclusión en la alineación era merecida. No olvidemos que Hazard también estaba disponible para jugar y esperaba verle jugar al menos 10-15 minutos. Durante la primera media hora, los ataques más importante del Real Madrid generalmente incluían a Vinicius o Asensio. Los 2 extremos estuvieron bastante activos, y sin ellos, el equipo parecía incapaz de generar jugadas de peligro.
Osasuna se defendía de forma muy ordenada y le ponía las cosas muy difíciles al Real Madrid. No atacaban demasiado y se centraban sobre todo en sus estrategias defensivas. Por ejemplo, cada vez que Vinicius atacaba, había al menos 3 jugadores defensivos intentando pararlo, y la mayoría de las veces eran efectivos.
El problema del Real Madrid era que a pesar de sus constantes jugadas de ataque, les costaba hacer buenos tiros. Se acercaban al área de Osasuna constantemente, pero a la hora de hacer el tiro la jugada se las paraban o el tiro no era lo suficientemente bueno.
Alrededor del minuto 30, Osasuna por fin empezó a acercarse cada vez más al área del Real Madrid. El partido fue mucho más igualado a partir de este momento, pero el Real Madrid era el equipo que parecía más en control y con más recursos para marcar el primer gol.
En la primera parte, el jugador del Real Madrid con menos rendimiento fue Camavinga en mi opinión. Su partido no fue horrible, pero en varias ocasiones pareció un poco desubicado y como si estuviera perdido en cuanto a su posición adecuada en el campo, así como sus responsabilidades en la organización general del equipo. Hizo un par de cosas positivas mientras estaba en el campo, pero cambiarle creo que fue una buena decisión. La otra opción hubiera sido cambiar a Asensio, pero estaba participando en varias jugadas de ataque y el equipo estaba necesitado de goles.
Al comienzo del segundo tiempo, Ancelotti mandó al banquillo a Camavinga y Rodrygo entró en el campo. Esta sustitución también cambió la posición de Asensio, que pasó de jugar como extremo derecho a hacerlo ahora en el centro del campo como principal centrocampista ofensivo.
Alrededor de los 49 minutos, algo loco casi sucedió. Osasuna hizo un ataque rápido mientras la defensa del Real Madrid no estaba en su posición adecuada. Ellos cruzaron la pelota desde el lado derecho del campo en el área cuando uno de sus jugadores, Moncayola, dispara directamente al poste, la pelota rebota en Carvajal y casi entra en la red. La jugada no terminó en gol pero fue el ataque más peligroso de todo el partido hasta ese momento. Bastante irónico que esta jugada fuera del equipo menos dominante, pero esto es típico en el fútbol.
La entrada de Rodrygo en el campo tuvo un efecto inmediato en el equipo, empezaron a crear jugadas de ataque mucho más intensas y más peligrosas en comparación con las de la primera mitad. El Real Madrid se centraba ahora sobre todo en el ataque, lo que dejaba a sus jugadores defensivos un poco desprotegidos, pero este es el tipo de riesgo que los equipos deben adoptar cuando necesitan un gol.
Los jugadores defensivos de Osasuna estuvieron increíbles. Fueron capaces de neutralizar muchas de las jugadas de ataque del Real Madrid, y prácticamente todos sus centros al área. El Real Madrid era capaz de llegar al área de Osasuna, pero una vez allí, era incapaz de terminar la jugada de forma adecuada.
Alrededor del minuto 68, Ancelotti hizo 3 sustituciones. Mendy por Marcelo, y esta sustitución se debe probablemente a que Mendy sufrió una lesión de larga duración, y jugar 90 minutos durante 2 partidos consecutivos podría ser demasiado arriesgado para él. Así que Marcelo, un lateral izquierdo que es muy bueno cuando ataca, entró en el campo para ayudar al equipo a marcar. Este cambio les hizo más vulnerables en la defensa, pero estaba claro que Ancelotti estaba contento de aceptar este riesgo para intentar ganar el partido.
Asensio por Hazard fue otra sustitución, Asensio estaba jugando en el centro detrás de Benzema, y Hazard también es bueno en esa posición, por lo que la organización del equipo no cambió con esta sustitución. Fue bueno ver a Hazard de vuelta en el campo, y creo que la mayoría de la gente espera que finalmente proporcione un buen rendimiento esta temporada después de sus muy decepcionantes 2 años desde que llegó al Real Madrid.
La tercera sustitución fue la de Vázquez por Carvajal, que también se ha recuperado recientemente de una lesión, al igual que Mendy, y supongo que el entrenador no quiere que juegue los 90 minutos sólo para proteger su recuperación.

Marcelo estuvo muy activo en las jugadas de ataque de los últimos minutos, pero por mucho que el Real Madrid lo intentara, no sólo no conseguía marcar un gol, sino que tampoco era capaz de realizar tiros adecuados. Los minutos siguieron pasando y finalmente, el partido terminó con un empate muy aburrido y sin goles.
Las estrategias defensivas de Osasuna fueron de clase mundial y realmente neutralizaron las jugadas de ataque del Real Madrid. Su trabajo defensivo les hace merecedores del empate, aunque si miramos las estadísticas del partido, el Real Madrid mereció la victoria.
Este empate también da lugar a un cuádruple empate en la cima de la liga, tenemos al Real Madrid, Sevilla, Betis y Real Sociedad empatados con 21 puntos cada uno. Mañana, el Atlético de Madrid podría unirse a ellos si gana su partido contra el Levante. De todos estos equipos, el único con 11 partidos es el Betis, el resto tiene 10 partidos jugados cada uno por lo que esto les da un poco de ventaja respecto al Betis.
No recuerdo ninguna temporada anterior en la que 4 e incluso 5 equipos estuvieran empatados en el liderato de la liga después de tantos partidos, y esto puede hacer de esta temporada una de las más emocionantes en mucho tiempo.
¿Qué viene ahora?
El próximo fin de semana habrá más partidos de liga y pienso ver al menos 1 partido, pero aún no he decidido cuál. Probablemente será el partido del Real Madrid como siempre, pero si hay un buen partido de la Premier League intentaré verlo también.

Osasuna, on the other hand, is having a great season up to this point. They are a team that usually stays around the mid-table. Currently, they are in the top 10 positions of the table, they are even above Barcelona which is certainly great for them. If they keep up with this performance I believe they have some chances of participating in European competitions next season, however, this won't be an easy feat for sure.
I was happy to see Ancelotti including 2 players in the lineup that haven't participated much in the previous matches, I am talking about Camavinga and Asensio, they are occupying the positions that Modric and Rodrygo had in the previous 2 matches. It is healthy for the squad to rotate the players and give opportunities to everyone. Plus, these rotations also prevent the main players from suffering accumulated fatigue. In fact, I would like to see other strikers playing more minutes and giving Benzema more rest, Jovic and Mariano are good enough to justify more time in the pitch for them.
My expectation of this match was to see Real Madrid dominating everything, but not necessarily scoring too many goals. I was expecting a solid victory for Madrid but without it being a slaughter because Osasuna as I said before, has proven they are more competitive than usual, and defeating them shouldn't be easy for any team.
How was the match?
The match began and Real Madrid immediately took control of the ball. Several times they managed to approach Osasuna's area while Osasuna was only able to briefly step a foot on Real Madrid's side of the pitch. The quality of the attacking plays from Real Madrid weren't spectacular but consistency is important, and it was clear that if Real Madrid continued to play with the same control, scoring a goal was a matter of time.
I was paying special attention to Asensio, to see if his inclusion in the lineup was deserved. Let's not forget Hazard was also available to play and I expected to see him play at least 10-15 minutes. During the first half-hour the most important attacking play from Real Madrid usually included either Vinicius or Asensio. The 2 wingers were quite active, and without them, the team seemed unable to generate dangerous plays.
Osasuna was defending in a very orderly fashion and was making things very hard for Real Madrid. They weren't attacking too much and were mostly focused on their defensive strategies. For example, every time Vinicius was attacking, there were at least 3 defensive players trying to stop him, and most of the time they were effective.
The problem with Real Madrid was that despite their constant attacking plays, they were having a hard time doing good shots. They approached Osasuna's area constantly, but when it was time to do the shot the play was either stopped or the shot wasn't good enough.
Around the 30 minute mark, Osasuna finally began to approach Real Madrid's area more and more. The match was much more even from this point on but Real Madrid was the team that seemed more in control and with more resources to score the first goal.
In the first half, the Real Madrid player with the least good performance was Camavinga in my opinion. His match wasn't horrible, but several times he seemed a bit off and as if he was a lost regarding his proper position in the pitch as well as his responsibilities in the overall organization of the team. He did a couple of positive things while in the pitch, but changing him seem like a good choice. The other option would have been to change Asensio, but he was participating in several attacking plays and the team was in need of goals.
At the beginning of the second half, Ancelotti sent Camavinga to the bench and Rodrygo went inside the pitch. This substitution also changed Asensio's position, he went from playing as the right-winger to now playing in the center of the pitch as the main attacking midfielder.
Around the 49 minute mark, something crazy almost happened. Osasuna did a quick attack while Real Madrid's defense wasn't in their proper position. They crossed the ball from the right side of the pitch into the area when one of their players, Moncayola, shots straight to the post, the ball bounces in Carvajal and it almost went inside the net. The play didn't end in a goal but it was the most dangerous attack of the entire match up to that point. Quite ironic that this play was from the least dominant team, but this is typical in football.
Rodrygo's enter into the pitch had an immediate effect on the team, they started to create attacking plays much more intensely and more dangerous compared to the ones from the first half. Real Madrid was now mostly focusing on attacking, which left their defensive players a bit unprotected, but this is the type of risk that teams need to adopt when they are in need of a goal.
Osasuna's defensive players were amazing. They were capable of neutralizing many of the attacking plays of Real Madrid, and pretty much all of their crosses into the area. Real Madrid was able to reach Osasuna's area but once in there, they were unable to finish the play in a proper way.
Around the 68 minute mark, Ancelotti did 3 substitutions. Mendy for Marcelo, and this substitution is probably due to the fact Mendy suffered a long-term injury, and playing 90 minutes for 2 consecutive matches might be too risky for him. So Marcelo, a left-back who is great when attacking, entered the pitch to help the team score. This change made them more vulnerable on the defense, but it was clear Ancelotti was happy to accept this risk in order to try to win the match.
Asensio for Hazard was another substitution, Asensio was playing on the center behind Benzema, and Hazard is also great in that position, so the organization of the team didn't change with this substitution. It was good to see Hazard back on the pitch, and I believe most people expect him to finally provide a good performance this season after a very disappointing 2 years since he arrived at Real Madrid.
The third substitution was Vazquez for Carvajal, who also recently recovered from an injury, just like Mendy, and I guess the coach doesn't want him to play for 90 minutes just to protect his recovery.
These substitutions allowed Real Madrid to play with new fresh players, which might be of help if they wanted to increase the pace of the match. They were in urgent need to score a goal because not winning this match would make it more difficult for them to stay in the first position of the league.
Marcelo was very active in the attacking plays of the last few minutes but no matter how hard Real Madrid tried, they were unable to not just score a goal but also unable to take proper shots. The minutes kept passing and ultimately, the match ended with a very boring tie with no goals.
Osasuna's defensive strategies were world-class and they really neutralized Real Madrid's attacking plays. Their defensive work makes them worthy of the tie, although if we look at the statistics of the match, Real Madrid deserved the victory.
This tie also results in a quadruple tie at the top of the league, we have Real Madrid, Sevilla, Betis, and Real Sociedad all tied with 21 points each. Tomorrow, Atletico Madrid might join them in the tie if they win their match against Levante. Of all these teams, the only one with 11 matches is Betis, the rest of them have 10 matches played each so this gives them a little advantage compared to Betis.
I don't remember any previous season where 4 and even 5 teams were tied at the top of the league after so many matches, and this can make this season one of the most exciting ones in a very long time.
What's next?
Next weekend there will be more league matches and I plan to watch at least 1 match but I haven't decided which one yet. It will probably be a Real Madrid match as usual, but if there is a good Premier League match I will try to watch it as well.

un empate muy amargo para los blancos que pierden la chance de colarse como primeros de la liga, muy acertado tu trabajo amigo mío @dedicatedguy, saludos y bendiciones.

ya el delantero e clase mundial lo tienen es Benzema, pero es que le falta alguien de peso en el medio que cree el juego en el madrid ,pues no lo hay, recuerda que madrid, Kroos, Casemiro, fede Valverde, son más volantes de corte y mixto no son número 10, y vinicius, asencio, Rodrigo, hazard son más extremos y media punta, es decir benzema crea las jugadas, pivotea y aparte hace gol, ese un crak
El problema con Benzema es que rara vez marca más de 30 goles por temporada y además por edad no le queda mucho tiempo a nivel tope. Actualmente está mejor que nunca pero sigo pensando que el Madrid necesita pensar en un delantero para el futuro.
Que el Real Madrid hay empatado contra el Osasuna habla de la calidad actual de los merengues, mas alla del nivel del Osasuna es algo que no se habia visto en muchos años. Pero creo que esto es bueno para el futbol, que los equipos "pequeños" no sean siempre arrollados por los de mayor renombre, eso da vistosidad a la misma liga.
Esta liga es la más pareja en mucho tiempo. Quizás incluso termina habiendo un campeón sorpresa.

Sí, mi preferido siempre ha sido el Real Madrid, por eso casi siempre veo sus partidos :P. Pero también soy fan del fútbol en general y me gusta ver partidos siempre y cuando haya buenos jugadores.

Ese equipo fue bueno pero la mejor etapa de esa era fue cuando tenían a Makelele. Una vez lo dejaron irse y se trajeron a Beckham el equipo dejó de funcionar bien. Recientemente el Madrid ha encontrado su Makelele moderno en Casemiro y con él lograron triunfos importantes con las 3 Champions seguidas. Hoy en día lo más parecido a los galacticos sería el PSG, y creo que en la Champions van a terminar fracasando porque tantas estrellas juntas no creo que funcionen bien.

Yo creo que esta Champions se la lleva el Bayer o el Liverpool, ambos equipos estan pisando mas arriba que los demas.
