Tuż pod Poprzeczką [#84]
Ostatnie 3dni miałem bardzo aktywne. Każdego dnia około 20000 kroków, żadnego dnia nie wystarczyło, żeby przeskoczyć nad poprzeczką. Albo zostawiłem telefon, albo zaraz przed północą zauważyłem, że brakuje mi kilkaset kroków, każdego dnia coś. Także skończyły się moje zmagania w kwietniowej edycji Poprzeczki. Dobra wiadomość jest taka, że przynajmniej mam siły na aktywny tryb życia.
Wczoraj wykorzystałem pierwszy naprawdę ciepły dzień, żeby doprowadzić do porządku stojący przed kamienicą wrak. Naklejki ze Świnką Pepą, które nakleiły mi romskie dzieci z sąsiedztwa już zdążyły wyblaknąć. Najwyższy czas, żeby sprzedać to auto.
Niezbyt długo przed stłuczką zalałem bak do pełna, w dniu kolizji wskazówką pokazywała połowę. Przy tych cenach paliwa trzeba było to spuścić. Właśnie to było moim wczorajszym głównym zadaniem.
Akumulator jest martwy, także użycie pompy paliwa w aucie nie wchodziło w grę, wydrążyłem więc dziurę w baku nożem, wziąłem jakiś już czas temu znalezione garnki i spędziłem przy aucie ponad 5 godzin. Przez małą dziurkę paliwo leciało rachitycznym strumyczkiem.
Poza tym wziąłem z auta wszystkie elementy wyposażenia i narzędzia. Po weekendzie skontaktuję się z ubezpieczycielem w celu sprzedaży wraku Stilo. Nie chce mi się już bawić w wycinananie katalizatora.
W międzyczasie udało się odpalić Astrę. Także mam już auto i nie jestem dłużej skazany na komunikację miejską.
Przedwczoraj natomiast miałem małą wycieczkę i krótki spacer wzdłuż taśmociągu w Dąbrowie Górniczej. Kiedyś chciałbym przejść całą drogę od początku w Sławkowie do Huty Katowice. Taśmociąg transportuje rudę żelaza przywożoną pociągami ze wschodu i od dziecka pamiętam go jako wyróżniający się element krajobrazu.

Haha, this is a little more complex story. I bought it from my father, he switched to Dacia. He just wanted to get rid of it, and he was like "I'm going to sell it to car-seller for less than half of a value"
Are you nuts, papa!? I'll buy it for this money. I wanted to sell it for full price but then I turned out it was much cheaper than my Astra to drive so I postponed selling :D and BUUM, it's gone.
Anyway, this was a good deal at the end
Yes it has to happen like this where you are put in front of a really really good deal that you can't pass on, because I never heard anyone saying, ohh I can't wait to save some money to buy that dream Fiat car... :))

This is so true about FIAT. Also catastrophical branding, all the bad PR from FIAT money :D
Dacia Sandero with built in LNG engine. I haven't tried it yet but it suits him:)
Well, Fiat used to own so many car brands, like Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Ram Trucks. Now they had some kind of merger with Peugeot/Citroen, actually they created a new company, Stellantis, that own all this brands: "Stellantis is the new corporation formed from the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Peugeot S.A. merger. The FCA brands sold in the U.S. are now under Stellantis: Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, and Ram. Overseas, Citroen, DS Automobiles, Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall are among the other Stellantis car brands."
I would say that's too much control of so many brands...anyways...
Dacia, low price for a new car, lng engine=fuel economy and much lower costs, even people in Germany and France are buying allot of Dacia cars, the only big downside is if you were to get in an accident with it, it is said they are not safe at all.
I guess there might be some sentiment towards Fiats in Poland after communist times among older people. It used to be one of the very few brands available there. It had to imprinted somehow, IDK. My father seems to be looking for economical and relatively reliable cars, and this Stilo thing was found by him on some online forum or something like that, anyway, he used it for more than 10 years.
One more issue with Dacia I noticed is a low quality interior, some parts od the new upholstery are made with a netty fabric similar to some office furniture, impossible to clean, after years it's going to be filled with dust. The most important thing is my dad is happy with it :)
In communist times if you had a Fiat, oh man that was something.
