Apr. 16, 22: Routine, Wax Wallet Recovery, Pizza Music, TV, and Games

Looking back now, I have to say, I’m having some difficulties pinning down where the day went. 😱 I was up for about an hour or so in the middle of the night, but ended up falling back to sleep and ended up with a full nine and a half hours!!! 🥳 Not only did I get a full night, I made some back. Definitely didn’t feel as tired today, but somehow managed to kill the day without accomplishing much.

Pretty much just the usual routine in the morning, except a whole lot later than usual. Didn’t really end up completing my post on time (and never edited either 😡), but just posted what I had at the time. Otherwise, still losing money on Polygon, like every other day, and cryptos are just trading sideways. There does seem to be a large number of BTC being withdrawn from exchanges at the moment, could make for some price volitility coming up here soon.

Been really frustrated for the last week with WAX and had both accounts frozen and useless due to CPU…didn’t have enough to stake to get more. 😡 I did finally claim what I had unstaked and then waited several days to get enough CPU to stake it back again. 🤣

That gave me about enough for one more transaction, so I went in and got a bigger chunk off BeeSwap to stake more to both accounts so that I don’t hit this problem again (at least not right away). Good news is, my legit account is now usable! 💪

Despite having staked that much more to my cloud wallet, it’s back to being unusable again now, though. 🤬 Not a big deal, just have to wait and hope that the CPU comes down again. I don’t really need to do anything with that any more other than claim staking rewards once a day, but for now I can’t even seem to do that. 😢 Not sure if I’m going to end up regretting getting this involved with WAX, but for now it’s been a learning experience and we’ll see about maybe creating some NFTs, dunno.

Spent the normal exorbitant amount of time chatting in Pizza server and, after several days of trying to catch Bacon and failing, I finally overtook him!!! 💪 Climbing the ranks, nearly top ten now! (It doesn’t actually matter all that much, more just a fun competition).

Creo had his techno music show and today was trance music, so not too bad, just kind of disappointing since the songs never go anywhere (and that’s the point). 😂

Otherwise, we had some shower time 😉 and then Wenche made us some pancakes and bacon for dinner. 🤤 We put on a movie, um, Paul Blart Mall Cop 2…was exactly what you’d expect, but was entertaining enough for what it was.

After the movie, she put Queen of the South on again and I tried playing Splinterlands, but just ended up spending hours watching losing matches and finally rage quit. Hit the sack fairly early and was kind of upset when Wenche never came to bed but went out in the living room…don’t even sleep in the same room is really bad people living separate lives, but then again I couldn’t complain about not being woken up…tough spot. I did eventually fall back asleep, though.

My Ego had started going up again on Rising Star, but did some lessons and got it back to zero. Otherwise, did a mission or two, same as most days, except I did actually remember to go in a couple times. Thinking I may have misunderstood…the millionaire business is a card you have to buy, I think, not just holding Starbits. 🤬

Nothing really to note about HashKings today. Just another day counting down to harvest.

Figured, after more than a week of them knowing that the website is completely dysfunctional, I’d give a random operation a try. And, after more than a week of an endless stream of pings of them patting themselves on the back for inventing more ways to destroy their token (and create new ones), it’s still this:

It wasn’t for lack of trying, it’s just that Splinterlands sucked hairy donkey balls today. 🤬 Neverending OP rented decks…100k deck power flopping level 8 epics and shit, redonkulous. 😡

Lost half way down through Gold III and finally had enough bullshit for one day and rage quit. I had the opportunity to stay on top of my daily quests, but now I’m behind by one (and currently have no intention of changing that status).

Staked up my drop for today, which again remained stable. Certainly not going up, but at least it’s not declining so rapidly any more. The price popped by several cents and that majorly bumped my USD value (it’s quite sensitive to minor changes at this point…perhaps over exposed?)!

I went crazy and pulled out a bunch of vouchers yesterday and sold some. They were up around two and a quarter HIVE and I couldn’t stand it anymore. Still have some left to dollar cost average in, but already used some of the funds to beef up my pool positions.
