July 8, 21: AutomaticWin, DoubleDay, BRO Dragon, Oculus, Tutorials, and Games
I did drag a bit today, but made it through without crashing or even plopping in front of the TV. Up shortly after six again, but another hour and a half short, and it’s adding up.
Did the usual morning routine and took out the garbage as well. Finally pulled the trigger and spent some of the ETH that I’ve been sitting on. Bought 1000 BRO and got Dragon status in that community. Watch ETH go to ten thousand bucks and I’m holding BRO bags. 🤣 We’ll see how it goes…in the meantime Solairitas gets some more H-E token drips. 🤑
Checked on my shittokens; Glass doing quite well…only around a 25% loss now. I’m still taking a wicked hard loss on my FIRE-USDC LP tokens, but I’m not pulling out yet and so it’s not realized.
My Aave investment is doing well, but the Tether interest rates are fluctuating wildly. I’m not in danger, really, but I don’t like my risk profile to change so much.
We headed out with the dog for a walk downtown and then down past the lake and scored another #AutomaticWin! 💪
Was slightly cooler this morning, but I still had long stuff on. Kinda’ glad for that seeing as how basically every square inch of exposed skin had at least one mosquito 🦟 bite successful or at least attempted. 🤬 A few days of heavy rain and then some warm weather is just about the perfect recipe for itchy misery.
Pretty overcast today and we did end up getting rained on. Not hard, but I think it’s worth a half a hardcoreness point for deciding to do the full five kilometers despite the rain.
Saw a little bunny 🐰 baby but couldn’t get a shot before it ran off into the weeds. I was able to get one of a black squirrel 🐿 but the four or five mosquito bites I got taking the picture wasn’t worth it.
They’ve got the road completely torn up down at the end of the block. Hopefully will have a nice new surface here before too long. 😁
In the afternoon I went out and pulled a few weeds out front, but I didn’t get any tools out and didn’t do enough to really count it as yard work.
I did do some work on my omnipotence proof, back and forth arguing with myself…but that’s exactly how philosophy works. 🤓😂
Spent several hours watching and rewatching Wordpress tutorials on how to make AJAX calls. Starting to really feel bad about myself…can’t seem to get a firm grasp on what I need to do. 😢 Still didn’t actually fire up the computer, which makes me feel bad on top.
To be honest I blew most of the rest of the day on the Oculus. I did crank out some new scores (slowed down) on some of the tracks that I hadn’t cleared on Beat Saber, but that was only a bit.
Today was the release of SniperEliteVR! Finally a game, like an actual entire game as you would expect. It’s challenging but quite fun. Watching that bullet bust through various body parts in slowmo never gets old.
In the evening I made some Dinty Moore Stew for a quick dinner and did some laps around the house to finish out the #DoubleDay.
All in all, not a bad day, but I really need to get the computer going and get some web work done; it’s been too long.
Sixty-one is not equal to sixty-eight. dShitty math is shitty again. 🤬 I’ve long since lost hope that they will ever make good on their promises ever again.
Got a few wins in, but still not able to advance at all on Holybread. My potions ran out and I considered renewing, even doing the middle ones, but the bot is still ded, so there isn’t any sense to it. 😡
Still holding seventh, but can’t seem to get back. 🥺
Wow! Aside from briefly considering it during the writing of my post, I completely forgot about CryptoBrewmaster. Really need to go in there and check out what’s up.
Again, just pounding out more missions and then some music lessons to balance out my Ego on Rising Star. Making progress, but it’s starting to feel like I’m slowing down a bit.
Played a little Splinterlands today while I did some laps to finish my #DoubleDay.
Not too bad again today; got my snipe quest done without too much trouble. Made a bit of progress in the ranks as well.
