Mar. 12, 22: Routine, Grocery Shopping, Broken Streak, TV, and Games

[I have the Libertarian Party of Michigan Delegate Convention all day today and already need to leave in less than an hour. 😱 Trying to get the basics of my post done at least, but I’m unlikely to be able to keep to my normal level of “quality.” I suppose I do have an actual excuse, though - being politically active.]

The snoring started this morning well before four and I was up and out of bed long before I wanted to be. Another two full hours short on sleep and I passed out so hard in the evening I missed my daily steps by only a couple hundred. 🤬😭

Not a lot to note about the usual morning routine. Was pretty usual, which nowadays means checking the markets and seeing that I lost even more money. Fun!

Got my post done and all the normal stuff and then, since I was going to be gone all day tomorrow, we headed into town to get our groceries done today. We made it out actually under a hundred bucks!!!! That hardly ever happens!

Got stuff put away, got some lunch, had some intimate time, and then watched the tube…honestly, that was the whole day. I tried to think about the website, but it just made me feel bad, so I barely even thought about it, let alone actually made any progress…being busy all day tomorrow (so no work there) and then back to teaching on Monday, I feel like an abject failure…you had one job. 😢

I suppose it’s better than having done it and then getting hacked. Did some more research into cookie stealing and cross site scripting, trying to learn as much as I can so as not to make stupid mistakes; so many ways to break stuff.

Dinked around on Discord a bit, but they were busy playing Planetside 2 and it was otherwise pretty quiet, so I kind of got bored with that and played some Angry Birds Match waiting for my Splinterlands quest to reset.

We watched a movie: The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds which was pretty good and then Wenche put on something, but I couldn’t keep my eyes open…ended up falling asleep with my clothes on and then waking up, brushing my teeth, and going right back to bed without realizing I hadn’t finished my steps. 😭 The last three or four times I’ve broken the streak it’s been for no good reason other than falling asleep early, annoying especially since we did do some walking when we went shopping. Oh, well…at least I didn’t get as upset about it as I normally do.

[Well, even with a time crunch and barely anything happening all day, I still managed to get to a reasonable word count for today. Not quite up to my usual standards, but better than I thought it was going to be. 👍]

Nothing really at all happening with Rising Star today. My Ego has actually stayed under control, so been doing missions almost exclusively and finally got to level fifty-one…only four more until the next mission unlocks (so like another six months).

Not sure what’s up. Went in to HaskKings, but I guess it too early yet since it still says I have one more day left until harvest (which should be today). 😢 I guess it will go through later on. Still not quite sure what goal is with this one…kinda’ want to get some more plots so it’s not so boring waiting a week for one harvest, but then I’m deeper in my capital outlay (and don’t currently have the liquid funds for it anyway)…I’d like to use some BUDS to get more MOTA as well, but then want to level my avatar for the drop. Decisions, decisions.

Played my Splinterlands quest in the evening as usual. Not too bad, got my quest done and held my rank. 💪

I got Life splinter for my quest but figured that would be quite a struggle for me at these levels, so switched again and got three wins without neutral monsters instead. Got it done in Diamond II and got some good DEC today:

No moves as far as vouchers or SPS. Just staked and I even had the form filled out ready to sell the vouchers, just had to hit “submit,” but I couldn’t do it at half price. I have several things I’d like to invest harder in (500 PIMP so Solairitas can call the bot twice, more BUDS to get my avatar leveled up before the airdrop, and moar THGaming for the pool and curation…), so I didn’t want to sell myself short.
