Mar. 4, 20: MSP Waves, Wednesday Walk, Zombierun, Games, and Teaching

Alright!!! Cranked another #DoubleDay!!! 👍💪. I’ll be honest, though, I manually entered my exercise into the Fitbit app, so the step count is a bit inflated. Still, the #DoubleDay is totally legit! 😃

Was up pretty early and it seemed that things had settled down a bit on the chain. We had regained the top seven witness spots, so a safe stalemate, but not enough to aggressively reclaim the chain for the community.

Spent most of the morning over on MSP Waves on Discord, keeping my ear to the ground regarding potential plans and what the broader sentiment might be.

The conversation was very much focused on what @justinsunsteemit had said in the meeting with witnesses the night before. He made it clear that his only intention was to use us to make money. He’s a businessman and profit is his only concern.

Clearly, obtaining Steemit and promoting Steem was merely a means to lining his pocketbook. Well, good on ya! Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. So, we were looking for ways to give him an out, which he seemed to want.

It started to get a bit late, so I headed out for my walk. Fitbit is still messed up, so I used Runtastic to get my map...worked okay as a fix for now.

Was beautiful out. Sunny, clear day and the wind wasn’t blowing too bad.

Today on my zombie mission we were climbing Comansis Tower to broadcast the anti mind control signal. Most of the floors were infested with zombs, but one floor was clear. Unfortunately, every surface was covered with flesh eating bacteria!!! 🦠 As I am effectively immortal, it fell on me to go through. We made it, but Moonchild is aware that we are in the building.

Three for three zombies evaded and mission complete.

Mr. Chubbles was out and about today. He zipped up the tree pretty quick, but then just stared back at me. 😄

Love it when the Moon is out! 😃

On the way back, he was still loitering about. This time he just stayed put and let me take a pic.

I’ve risen slightly in the Holybread ranks. The potions seem to be helping a little, but they’re helping everyone else as well.

I did get all three of my tasks done for the day! 😄 Approaching enough bread to be able to purchase a new hero.

BTW: update on Febbit, you can only withdraw with a Faucethub account and they are defunct, so while I am currently still playing, it seems very dubious that it’s worth the time.

For my Steemmonsters quest I had Fire splinter today. I’m bouncing around at the bottom of Gold I, but was able to save enough DEC for a quest potion.

They’ve introduced another token into the game. Seems like yet another money grab to me, but we’ll see. Maybe getting gold will be better than getting like 5 DEC (assuming gold is a reward).

At this point I still need three wins to complete the quest, but it’s already getting late to post and I haven’t done the Solairitas Weekly News Update yet (and PYPT has already started). 😢

In the evening I taught the second class of calculus covering the integral test and p-series. We got through the material somewhat quickly and so I let them go early.
