Nov. 7, 22: Routine, ZombieRun, Teaching, Quest, TV, and Games

[Up early this morning (about quarter to six) since Wenche got me up to see the Blood Moon eclipse. That means I’m getting a likewise early start on my post today, which is great, since it’s Tuesday and we have the weekly Pimp meeting at nine. 👍 I might even get done and be able to pay attention. 😮]

Got to bed around ten last night, so a fairly decent adult bedtime, but didn’t make it all the way through in bed this time. Got up around three and moved out to the couch, but slept ok the rest of the night until quarter to seven. Was about a half an hour short on the night, which seems to be becoming a new trend again…what’s also become a trend again is coffee (although less than half what I used to drink); my tummy hasn’t been too bad, but maybe the caffeine (with Red Bull in the afternoon as well) is messing with me later than I think. 🤔 When I cut coffee out I was getting like eight and half to nine hours a night…

[Oh, crap! I took for granted that I had time and started doing some more prep work for class tonight and whoosh, I’m short on time again…😡]

Did the usual morning routine and was super happy to find that my alts were even stronger against ETH on Polygon. For the first time in forever, I was only losing like .36 ETH, recovered a lot! 😁 However, all it will take would be for ETH to go up and/or alts to go back down for those “gains” to be erased…still just trying to get back to the two ETH I put in and trying not to be too pissed off about the fact that this investment was supposed to be a passive way to help grow Solairitas.

Speaking of which, we’ve been adding several new members lately. ☀️😁 While that’s excellent and we didn’t completely lose our early investor (which is fantastic as well), the VP is really starting to get strained and I’m going to have to shift the voting tiers here soon. Should do another update post as well, been a really long time (although I haven’t had all that much positive news).

Otherwise, did some proper token shifting and got Solairitas’ wallet cleaned up as well as my own (mostly), did some curation, got caught up on Discord, all the usual, then got to work on my post. Actually got done a bit early and considered heading out for a walk, but ended up dinking around online for a bit before I went.

Decided on a solid five kilometer Zombierun for today. 💪

On the mission for today we found an entrance to a cave system by the edge of the ocean that was the entrance to a labyrinth which is supposed to house the final ingredient we need to cure the zombie virus. We had to blow out a piece where the entrance was sealed (which explains why it hadn’t been found or otherwise destroyed) but we were racing against the tide that was set to come in and drown us all…

Only four zombies out today, so didn’t run all that much, but a couple came right on top of eachother (which makes them that much harder - 15% faster than 15% faster) and I did get a fifty meter warning, but four for four zombies evaded and mission to be continued.

Not exactly so warm out there today, but the sunshine was nice. Even with running from zombies, though, I didn’t at all regret my coat and hat and scarf.

Clear skies and sunny, though. I’ll take that over the white shite any day!

Saw a couple of little fishies up by the shoreline, but otherwise no motion down at the pond…getting to be that time. Come to mention it, I still haven’t seen any flocks of geese heading south. 🤔

Got back, grabbed my sandwich for lunch, and then got a shower and headed in for work. Somehow, even though I got a pretty good start getting ready, I was nearly fifteen minutes late on the road again. 😡 Luckily, the traffic was fine and I was in class and ready to go about five minutes early.

Today we looked at the details of graphs of quadratic equations, particularly in vertex form. We played around with each of the variables to see what each of them does, then put them all together and tried an example of an application question. Even with all that, we still ended about fifteen minutes or so early.

Drive home went smoothly too and I was home with plenty of time to unwind a little, chat a bit on Discord, and then bust out the Quest for a little while before Wenche was due home from work.

I finally finished the four hundred piece version of the haunted house puzzle. Got a solid three days’ worth of play out of just that one! Who would have thought putting together puzzles in VR would be as engaging as it is?!

When Wenche got home, I quit out and cleaned up a little in the kitchen and got the table set and she made us breaded chicken and rice and salad for dinner. 🤤

After dinner we watched some more of that show we were watching: Gifted and I played some WombPlay games until we put on some Golden Girls and I fell asleep.

Well, hrm 🤨 kind of a mixed bag on dShitty today. No crime or crises, so that’s cool, and the taxes even seem to have let up slightly and my stated income actually went up for once…instead they went for no BEER dust payment: sneaky shitty.

So far, so good with regard to my Rising Star Ego. Still sitting at zero, so I’m still doing missions for as long as it will let me before I have to switch to lessons again…kind of fitting that this is a broken record. 😂

Ah, good ol’ HashKings. I really didn’t even think about it all day except for in the morning when I did this section of my post…I did win another seed from the Pizza giveaways (which still represent nearly all the “progress” I’ve made with this), but considering that have like tenfold more seeds than I can use already, it doesn’t make a whole lot of difference.

My rental income went back up by a little bit today, looking at around $3.8 for the day which helps to balance out a low day and brings me back closer to the $3 average. It has also turned this thing that either annoys me playing or annoys me for not playing into “how much did I make today?” which is way more fun.

Claimed my SPS interest for the day, paid the rental fee out of it, and staked the rest. Been a few days now that I’ve staked, so I think I’m going to save up some liquid to swap out over the next couple of days.
