Oct. 19, 20: Xampp Fail, Napping, A Movie, Laps, and Games

Up at friggin’ three o’clock in the morning this morning. 😭 Only another hour and a half short, but who’s counting? I was basically wrecked today and crashed out hard in the afternoon.

BTC catching a bit of a bull pop today, but I don’t completely trust it since the volumes remain low. Up is better than down, though, for sure! HIVE broke 1300 sats and has remained below...been considering selling some LTC to get HIVE on the cheap, but they’re down too, so haven’t made a move.

I did decide to divest from Telokanda. Started the powerdown, so we’ll see how it goes. It wasn’t really worth having them staked anyway...gave it a month or more and meh, no big loss.

I bought some BROS for the burning contest. As much as I hated sending them to @null, the prize is in BRO, so hopefully it will be worth the gamble.

Sat down and got some grades entered into my grade book and then tried to tackle the next step of getting the project I’ve been working on running. Need a SQL database and a PHP server.

I downloaded Xampp, fought it a little to get it installed, but not too terrible. Fired up the PHP server and got it to serve the sample page in my browser, so verified that that worked, but when I tried to run the SQL server, it just crashed out! 😭😡🤬

Kept telling me that the port was in use! When I looked up the process listening on that port it was SQL somehow already running.

It kept barking at me about admin rights when I tried to change the config file, so got it running as an administrator and changed the port, but still got the same crash and burn. 😢

Ended up resorting to the old “turn it off and back on again” trick but only made it through the off part. 😛

Chatted for a while over in the Man Cave on Discord, but otherwise, most of the afternoon was lost to the Aether...couldn’t even muster to motivation to play Xbox! Just laid down, turned on a movie and was out in ten minutes.

Felt absolutely shitty when I woke up and just had a cinnamon roll for dinner. The movie I turned on actually looked interesting, so I watched it properly.

It was called Splice and two scientists created a human/animal hybrid...very intense and interesting! Four eyes open! 👀👀

Once the movie was over I was about ready to go back to bed again. Still had some steps to go, so I fired up the Fitbit and did some laps.

Once I’d gotten past my ten thousand for the day, I watched some Man with a Plan on tv with the wifey and then fell asleep again.

A peaceful day in my dCity today. 👍 Got a nice chunk of SIM and starting to approach being able to get the next card. I looked at the market, but not quite there yet for a Brewery, especially since I’ll need some housing for workers as well. Hopefully soon.

I got all my Holybread tasks done for the day! 🥳 Been kind of off and on lately. Once I get up high enough the battle task becomes nearly impossible.

Got plenty enough gold saved up now for potions and repairs, and still a day left to go. 😄

Borderline, but count it! Top ten!!! 💪

Got the brew done on CryptoBrewmaster and sold it out. Likely have a few days to go now before I can do any more. Need aroma hops and yeast and I don’t think they’re available today. 😡

The top guys have like tens of thousands, but I’m pretty sure they bought most of them. I can say that I haven’t invested anything other than time into this one.

Realized this morning that it’s been seventeen days since the last time I played! Time fricking flies! I can say it has resulted in significantly less swearing, so that’s probably worth more than the piddly rewards ever would have been.

Got my stats for the last week again. So disappointing, though not unexpected, to have this endless stream of red arrows. 😡🤭 It’s the sleep (or lack thereof) that’s killing me! Seriously hurts to see that broken streak day in there!!! 🤕
