Oct. 24, 22: Routine, ZombieRun, Teaching, Quest, TV, and Games

[Been dealing with SOL stuff this morning…kind of upset about it, but anyway…it’s already quarter past nine and I’m only just starting on this post…don’t think it’s likely that I’ll be done on time. 😭 Oh, shit! There’s Pimp meeting this morning too, but totally forgot. 😱]

Didn’t get to bed until about eleven tonight! With the now everyday normal of getting up in the middle of the night and going out to the couch and then being woken up when the wife and dog and cat start moving around in the kitchen, I ended up about half an hour short of my eight hour goal. I did pound a Red Bull with lunch, but otherwise it wasn’t too bad.

Got on with the usual morning routine and there’s not really anything at all to note about that. Did all the usual stuff I do every morning and cryptos are still sticking in the exact same spot as they have been forever. 😠🥴

Worked on my post for the day and got it done and published and shared and then decided to head out for a walk. Luckily, the dog didn’t get up and come beg to go at all, so I went for a solid five kilometer Zombierun. 💪

To be honest, I didn’t really pay attention to the story today, was thinking about Mythix economy primarily (I think I might have found a good compromise…instead of getting rid of colored Shards, changing the ten to one ratio, thinking a one to one ratio will keep thing simple - only integers!). I had two zombies back to back after the first kilometer. The second one was seriously rough and I got both the fifty and twenty meter warnings, but I made it! 👍😄 Four for four zombies evaded and mission complete.

Was a but cooler out again today than it has been, but I pulled off my hat and scarf after a couple kilometers and with the zombies I had a solid sweat on by the time I got home.

Got back, grabbed my usual sandwich for lunch, and then jumped in the shower and got everything ready for work. I was really late out the door, nearly fifteen minutes, but the drive in was fine and I was still a good ten minutes or so early to class.

Today we looked at adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing complex numbers. 🤓 We’ve been spending this entire chapter building the skills we need to be able to deal with them, so it wasn’t really anything new and we were done about half way through class time, but the schedule did have us going a bit ahead today, so we looked at completing the square and derived the Quadratic Equation. That’s from next chapter, though, so we’ll go back and do some more practice with that next week.

Got out of class only a couple minutes early this time, actually, but the drive home went smoothly as well and I had a good hour or so after I got home before Wenche was done with work.

I decided to take the opportunity to play through a few more of the new Lizzo songs I got on Beat Saber. Between walking five k, teaching, and Quest I cranked the steps for today and raised my lifetime average for once! 🏆

When Wenche got done with work, she made us some vegetable soup and toast for dinner. My tummy is a bit upset from the turkey taco…don’t want to have to cut that out too. 🤕

Pretty much just relaxed for the rest of the evening. I played some WombPlay games and we put on Golden Girls until another pretty late bedtime.

[Well, I was only able to half pay attention to the meeting since I was working on this post and I am nearly ten minutes late on posting, but I did get ‘er done this morning. 😃]

No crime or crises again in my dShitty. The taxes have taken another SIM per day, but I seem to be stable at a staggering twenty-two for the moment.

Went in and ran a mission on Rising Star. Was surprised to find that my Ego was still zero, so keeping on with missions for as long as I can.

A couple more days left to wait for HashKings to start nagging at me to have to do anything. There was an announcement again: now they’re burning MOTA into oblivion…and another one gone, another one gone, another one bites the dust! 😛

His book should be: How to Create and Destroy Endless Tokens (and Get Someone Else to Pay for it). 🤣

Wow! I think this really is the longest stretch I’ve gone without playing any Splinterlands. Like I’ve mentioned, I’ve actually made moves to get the cards rented, but as of now I still haven’t rented any out…realized if I do get that going I need to pull myself out of the roster for brawls. It’s not that I really care at all about playing them (or the “rewards”), but it is one way that I actively participate with the Alliance. 🤔

Claimed my SPS interest for today and staked it up. Still haven’t made any moves with what I have already sitting on the market, so no need…or maybe I’m going to have to blow it all and then some buying back my own f-ing token again. 😡😭
