Oct. 30, 21: Routine, Oculus, SM Season End, TV, and Games
Well, darn it somewhat, today was another (even moreso) unproductive day. I slept nearly until six, though, and got a full eight hours, which was nice. Still couldn’t really muster the gumption to tackle anything in particular.
Did the usual morning routine and cleaned up in the kitchen, put away the dishes in the dishwasher and cleaned the ones in the sink…got my post done for the day, watched some YouTube, and checked the crypto markets. A bit of a boring consolidation time right now, but we aren’t pulling back too hard and HIVE is even posting a few green candles! 💪
Wenche needed to run into town to get some stuff for her Halloween costume, so I took the opportunity to play a little Resident Evil 4. Made it through another section and locked in my progress and decided to play a bit of Beat Saber since it had been a while.
Took a break from playing to let the headset recharge and snagged some lunch. Wenche got back and after she dyed her hair we spent a little intimate time together and she got ready to go out to a Halloween party (I wasn’t really interested to get dressed up or all that).
Went over to MSP Waves and joked about on Crim’s show for a little while. She was messing around with filters for Halloween, but I like Discord better for chatting and couldn’t really see what was going on…thinking I might need to look into Theta.tv some more (and probably update my 3Speak).
I took advantage of the sale on Oculus again and got Yupitergrad. Gave it a go for a bit and made some progress…it’s alright, but getting the hang of the controls is a little tough, I guess that’s sort of the challenge of the whole thing. It seems somewhat fun, but will definitely take the back burner so long as I have Resi 4 left to play.
Other than that, not a lot going on. Got an email confirmation that my new Model A parts are scheduled for delivery on Tuesday already. 😄 I think I might have some buyer’s remorse when it gets here, but only so far as I can’t really install them yet. The oil pump I can certainly get back together, so that will be a clear goal to achieve then.
I started getting ready for bed, but I still had nearly four thousand steps left to go for the day. 😱 So, spent nearly an hour pacing laps to get it done and keep the streak alive. Didn’t take me long to crash out after that, put on some Paradise PD on the tube, but it was pretty late (at least for me).
Had a slight ray of sunshine there for a minute, but as would have been expected, the dShitty clouds rolled right back in…still dumping my SIM over to Solairitas, but can’t say that it’s been much for weeks on end now.
It repeatedly pissed me off today…would forget about it for a while and then, CryptoBrewmaster…I’m just stuck and screwed or else buy other shitcoins. 🤬 The only fair thing would be for them to at least allow us to get out if we want to, but no, fucking paywalls everywhere. I already paid them to be able to withdraw the CBM, so seems like that’s the best I can do…have a feeling their capital controls won’t even allow me to withdraw below a thousand, but we’ll see. Not that the CBM will be worth shit anyway.
A couple missions and a lesson or two again on Rising Star. Wonder how long before they start making things crappy? Boring is one thing, but at least I’m sort of earning something for playing.
Didn’t play any Splinterlands today, just waited out the end of the season the reset. I got sneak quest for my daily, but I’m hesitant to play now.
Got kinda’ disappointing rewards this season. Very little DEC and very few solid cards, but I did get a gold foil worth a couple bucks:
Despite having gotten hammered mostly, I’m thankful that I got to participate in this guild brawl. Put me over the threshold to get another Gladiator pack:
Speaking of packs, I did bite the bullet and got twenty-five more presale packs. Really not sure if it was worth it versus selling or hanging onto the vouchers, but I do get some more airdrop card chances and some points toward the SPS drop.
