Behind the Whistle: My Experience as Tournament Manager in the 2025 District Volleyball Meet

Hello everyone! How are you?. I hope you are all safe and in good health at all times. It's already been 3 months since the earthquake struck in our town, but we're still experiencing many aftershocks. Others already felt depressed and anxious. But with God's Grace, I tried to cope with those emotions and get back to normal.

Well in this blog I will share my experience being the tournament manager in a volleyball tournament during our district meet 2025. This task is not easy but I tried my best to perform the rules delegated to me properly. I am not a volleyball player but I know some rules and regulations for playing. I just studied the manual in order to provide the coaches with the best decision and assess the referee whenever needs my decision.

Our district meet was conducted last December 3-5. But for volleyball, the game was done last December 3. We only had one day for the tournament since we had only 5 participating teams. The tournament was fun and very exciting since all the teams were good. All teams had a trainer. I am very thankful to all the coaches, officiating officials, and athletes for their cooperation. The tournament was successfully done. For the team to win or lose still they are all winners for successfully participating in the game.
