Day 3 of our Journey as Kitchen Personnel During Cebu Provincial Sports Meet 2024

On the 3rd day of our journey as Kitchen Personnel in the last provincial sports meet, we woke up at 2:00 am. I woke up first and then some of my co personnel followed. We woke up early since we would be preparing the packed lunch for all our athletes because all games will start on that day. We cooked doubled again this time, 6 big casseroles of rice for almost 15 kilos and their breakfast and lunch. For their breakfast, we cooked boiled egg and hotdog and for their lunch, we cooked fried chicken. After cooking, we again packed it in their lunch boxes and when done we went to the market for marketing or to buy ingredients for our supper and breakfast on the next day. We need to buy other commodities too like milo, coffee for snacks, and fruits 🍑.

This time we went to the Carcar City Market because we somebody told us that Carcar Market is big and there's also a Super Metro were we could choose varied items which we find it convenience. Aside from that the parking area is quite spacious compared to San Fernando Market. When we're there we truly amazed at how big the Carcar City Market is

We went to the vegetable 🥒 🍆 section, 🍖 🥓 section, fish 🐠 🐟 section, and eggs. After buying everything in the market, we went to the place where 🍓🍑 fruits are displayed. While walking we encountered a stall that sold Buri Hat. Since it's very hot, so mam Jen and I bought and we find it nice wearing a hat because we will no longer be exposed directly to sunlight. When we reached the 🍓 🍑 section, we bought 🍎 for athletes and coache's fruits during afternoon their meals. While choosing the best apple in the fruits section we felt thirsty, so we decided to take a bite of a watermelon 🍉 .It was sweet and watery which freshened up, or satisfied our thirst.

Before we went to our billeting quarters we dropped off at Super Metro to buy milo, milk, biscuits, coffee, and others. We also take note of some possible meat we can buy from their 🍖 🥓 section. We find it comfortable and relaxed this time since it's cool inside. My feet were now aching this time due to walking, so I find time to sit down for a while. After that, we went to our billeting quarters for we are going to cook dinner. It was a quite tiresome day, but for our delegation, we just enjoyed it so that we could cook the foods well that are in satisfying and in good taste.

While having our food preparation for our dinner we received good news. One of our municipal councilors visited us and brought some biscuits for our athletes' snacks. We salute him for being generous and concerned to our athletes and our delegation. He is truly a leader who always looks forward to the welfare of his fellowmen in the municipality.
