My Actifit Report Card: June 19 2025

One of those days when all the pieces fit together in an incredible way. My city bike is broken. It was recently time to change the chain and a few days ago I got a new chain and started this easy routine job. However, after removing the old chain, I found that the gear cage was completely warped and deformed. It was as if the bike had fallen on the gear, I don't know... So I started looking for a new gear, and finding a good 9-speed gear is not easy at all these days. In the end, I found an XT Deore in the ads that seemed very well-preserved. The buyer... in another part of the city, about 30 km from me. And of course, the decision was made - I'm going to ride an electric bike to finish it and combine my obligations and training. Some 60 kilometers later I have a new gear and I'm ready to repair my city bike.
