Hi everyone, finally we have FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 running. This event should be fantastic, after long months, multi year we had to do some personal distancing, limiting our outside activity and stay isolated like a monk in seclusion... Finally a big awaited event is here

INTERESTING SITUTION AND PERSPECTIVE ON QATAR 2022 WORLD CUP

There are plenty of interesting thing going on before WORLD CUP 2022 opened, let see three the most interesting one

1. Too Many SUPER STARS Injured

There are too many Stars and Super Stars who miss World Cup 2022 due to injury. From France we have Karim Benzema, Presnel Kimpembe, Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kante, Christopher Nkunku. From Germany we have Timo Werner, Florian Wirtz and Marco Reus. From Argentina they are Giovani Lo Celso Nicolas Gonzalez, and Joaquin Correa. The list is still long but I cut it here.
There are two names that make me sad for missing this World Cup. The First one is THE BEST PLAYER - Ballon d'Or 2022 Winner Karim Benzema. I am a fan of him since He played in Madrid during Mourinho Era. He is not a modern striker who can do everything but morelikely a modern post player who become a pivot point who makes the other forwards can play a better tactical and clinical moves.

The second one is Sadio Mane, The Best African Player of The Year. He led Senegal beat Moh. Salah Egypt Team in the final 2021/2022 African Cup Final. His personality isn't glamour nor stand out, however on field sometime he showed a very efficient plays which was almost impossible to stop him from delivering assists and scoring goals.

I hope in this QATAR 2022 World Cup, we will have a new born Super Star that shock the world... Like James Rodriguez in 2014, just a wonderkid somehow got the golden boot and won Puskas Goal of The Year 2014.

2. The Cultural (and Religion) Difference and Adaptation

As a person who live in Indonesia which have the largest Muslim population in the world, alcohol bans isn't something new to me. So it's kind of funny when I read these news, people should have expected this kind of situation first, not pointing a Beer Brand as the event sponsor. Maybe FIFA people get too greedy with the money offered, without doing further due diligent and feasibility study.

Well I don't really care with FIFA people/officials, I hope the fans and supporters who visit QATAR are ready for this. I know it's a weird thing to see some sports live, without drinking beer and no pork bites. You must learn first how to enjoy the live event with Coke and Chips only.

3. Negative Issue: Bribing

In any Sports Event, Betting becomes a major industry and the money circulation is very huge. Match Fixing and bribing always be the best solution for the bookies. In this World Cup 2022 the match fixing gets escalated, somehow it looks like someone leak to the media with some detailed information including the players who have received bribery. We don't know for sure whether it's the truth or just a black campaign, but I know for sure after I read those news, I went directly to Hivebuzz Betting then picked QATAR as the winner ha... ha.. ha.

MATCH PREDICTION AND ANALYSIS

On my upcoming posts, I will have a bit of prediction and matches analysis. For the time being, I might skip prediction for the first round, because there are plenty of condition such as I have mentioned above: Injuries, Cultural adaptation and some "bribing" ha ha ha... Just joking

I want to see and learn how this World Cup community first, so I know how far I can taunt and banter against certain Team before and after the match. Will this community full of banter and joke, or will be some serious die hard fan based... Don't know yet.

But First.... for a short one, I pick QATAR over ECUADOR

reasons are simple:

• Their FIFA RANK differs only 5 positions, so based on their recent performance, can be said they are pretty much on the same level. Individually Ecuador has better personel, however football is a 11 players team, having 11 better players doesn't guarantee you to have a better team. Combination of talent, management, tactic and strategy play great part.
• QATAR is the host, the HOST will always have advantages and favoritism and this is undeniable truth. Based on history, all the hosts played extraordinary in the group stage, so I think we can expect to see great above expectation performance from QATAR team.
