Hey buddies!

We'd been planning for days to go to an "ghost" village shrouded in legend, lost in the mountains where I'd already been a few years ago, to show it to my girlfriend. Between one thing and another we were quite late and to visit it decently would not have been enough only in the late afternoon. No way, we change of course.

We headed to the west end of the village where we live for a walk to another abandoned village, not lost in the middle of nowhere but also with great charm.

A few kilometres from the centre, after crossing a few farm roads and wooded paths, you arrive at a large prairie where these ruined houses have been left to themselves for years.

When I was a child I could see them from below on the main road, since then they have never changed, built in stone and with lose roofs, inside there are some buckets and bags of concrete that seem to have been there for a long time, as if someone had intended to renovate but then changed his mind. I don't know if this is the real reason, but thinking about it, this place is quite uncomfortable to reach, there is only a long trail that arrives from both sides and only by one person at a time can walk there.

We also met the Flying Stag you see in one of the pictures in the article, busy crossing the road with his own legs instead of flying, I made sure he arrived safe at his destination, in case a car had ever passed by.

A table and a chair in the middle of a meadow nearby, practically surrounded by tall grass, caught our attention, a perfect place to relax in the green, I really think that one day we will use it too.

Avevamo pianificato da giorni di andare in un villaggio abbandonato avvolto da una leggenda, sperduto in mezzo alle montagne nel quale ero già stato alcuni anni fa, per farlo vedere anche alla mia compagna. Tra una cosa e l'altra invece abbiamo tardato un bel po' e per visitarlo decentemente non ci sarebbe bastato soltanto il tardo pomeriggio. Niente da fare, cambio di rotta.

Ci siamo diretti verso l'estremità ovest del paese dove abitiamo per fare una passeggiata e ci siamo diretti verso un altro villaggio abbandonato, non sperduto nel nulla ma anch'esso dal gran fascino.

A pochi chilometri dal centro paese, dopo aver attraversato alcune strade poderali e sentieri boschivi si arriva in una grande prateria dove si trovano queste case diroccate lasciate a se stesse da anni.

Da piccolo le vedevo da sotto dalla strada statale, da allora non sono mai cambiate, costruite in pietra e con tetti in lose, dentro vi si trovano alcuni secchi e sacchi di cemento che sembrano essere lì da molto tempo, come se qualcuno avesse avuto intenzione di ristrutturare ma poi abbia cambiato idea. Non so se questa sia la vera ragione, ma pensandoci bene questo luogo è abbastanza scomodo da raggiungere, c'è solo un lungo sentiero che arriva da entrambe le parti ed è percorribile soltanto da una persona alla volta.

Abbiamo anche incontrato il Cervo Volante che vedete in una delle foto dell'articolo, impegnato ad attraversare la strada con le proprie gambe invece che con leali, ho vigilato affinché arrivasse sano e salvo alla propria meta, in caso fosse mai passata una macchina.

Un tavolino ed una sedia nel bel mezzo di un prato lì vicino, praticamente immerso nell'erba alta, ha attirato la nostra attenzione, un posto praticamente perfetto per rilassarsi nel verde, penso proprio che un giorno o l'altro lo sfrutteremo anche noi.
