Hallo Freunde,

nein, das wird nichts Politisches, dafür bezahlt mich ja niemand. Ich habe nur mal meine persönliche Situation überdacht, weil ich heute eine Situation hatte, die ich eigentlich nicht so erwartet habe.

Hauptberuflich arbeite ich als freischaffender Contentschreiber (mit eigener EU-Firma). in der Branche ist immer eine Auf und Ab, zur Zeit ist wieder mal ein eher abwärts an Aufträgen zu verzeichnen, aber wir haben ja auch Sommer.
Die steigende Anzahl an Mitbewerbern stören mich auch nicht so sehr, die meisten sind eh Wannabes.
Was allerdings häufiger passiert in letzter Zeit ist, dass sich Kunden einfach so verabschieden und wenn man nachsieht, dann sind auch die Webauftritte und Shops weg. Das heißt, die geben ganz auf. Das passiert oft nicht geplant, sondern so plötzlich und unerwartet, dass ich noch einen rel. großen Auftrag bekam und der Kunde (KFZ-Teilehandel) drei Wochen später weg war. Das war nicht der einzige , sondern nur der mit direkter Auswirkung auf meine Einnahmen.

Ich schreibe als Moderator nebenbei seit Jahren für eine Firma, die ihr Geld mittels kostenpflichtiger Datingseiten macht. Moderator bedeutet hier, dass ich die Rolle von Frauen übernehme, die geradezu süchtig nach erfolglosen, meist älteren und übergewichtigen, intellektuell eher grobmotorigen Singlemännern sind. Zum einen macht es mir wirklich Spaß im Sinne vom Gaffen bei einem Unfall, zum anderen war es immer ein sichereres zweites Standbein, welches man von jetzt auf gleich zum Begleichen aller Kosten ausweiten kann.
Das hat mir bei Corona sehr viel geholfen, aber auch schon vorher.
Bei diesem Job sind neben den langen Wochenenden und Feiertagen die Wochenenden die Stoßzeiten und man hat dann nicht mal Zeit zum Pinkeln. Gestern aber, gar nichts. Wo sonst 100 Chatpartner reinkamen, waren es gestern keine 10 und damit lohnt sich der Job nicht mehr.
Wenn das die ersten Anzeichen von Geldknappheit sind, dann hat die Inflation bereits in den Köpfen gewonnen und ist nicht mehr aufzuhalten.
Vielleicht sehe ich auch nur viel zu schwarz

no, this won't be anything political, no one is paying me for that. I just thought about my personal situation, because today I had a situation that I actually did not expect so.

My main job is as a freelance content writer (with my own EU company). In the industry there are always ups and downs, at the moment there is again a rather downward trend in orders, but it's also summer.
The increasing number of competitors doesn't bother me that much either, most of them are Wannabes anyway.
However, what happens more often lately is that customers just say goodbye and when you look, the websites and stores are gone too. That is, they give up completely. This often happens not planned, but so suddenly and unexpectedly that I still got a relatively large order and the customer (automotive parts trade) was gone three weeks later. That was not the only one , but only the one with direct impact on my income.
___ I hope this doesn't become mainstream, I need my customers___.

I have been writing as a moderator for years for a company that makes its money by means of paid dating sites. Moderator here means that I take on the role of women who are downright addicted to unsuccessful, mostly older and overweight, intellectually rather coarse single men. On the one hand, I really enjoy it in the sense of gawking at an accident, on the other hand, it has always been a safer second leg, which can be extended from now on to pay all expenses.
That helped me a lot with Corona, but also before.
In this job, besides the long weekends and holidays, the weekends are the rush hours and then you don't even have time to pee. Yesterday though, nothing at all. Where otherwise 100 chat partners came in, there were no 10 yesterday and so the job is no longer worthwhile.
If these are the first signs of money shortages, then inflation has already won in the minds and is no longer to be stopped.
Maybe I'm just looking way too pessimistic
