Martes de Champions, martes de sorpresas, martes de victorias, martes de derrotas, martes de felicidad, martes de decepciones; La orejona es una competicion que ya sabemos lo que nos puede dar, pero, aun cuando nos la da, nos sentimos sorprendidos como si fuese la primera vez que vivimos esa experiencia. Algo asi como lo que pasa con el iconico programa humoristico de Roberto Gomez Bolaños: El Chavo del 8 (asumo que muchos lo conocemos), a modo personal, lo he visto tantas veces que en muchas ocasiones ya me se los dialogos de capitulos epicos, y aun asi, cuando escucho hablar a Don Ramon, me rompo a carcajadas a pesar de ya saber lo que iba a decir.

Pues bien, es el ejemplo mas cercano que acaba de llegar a mi imaginacion mientras redacto esas lineas, se lo que me puede dar ver un partido de Champions, la posibilidad de una derrota esta ahi, y si el equipo al que apoyo pierde, me indigna como si no supiese que eso podia pasar.

Pero algo que no sabia que podia suceder era una injusticia arbitral, con la llegada del VAR, el discurso de "impartir justicia y dismunuir el error humano" en principio convencio hasta a los mas escepticos, pero ese sentimiento se fue diluyendo cuando, con el pasar de los partidos, en algunas ocasiones se han empeorado las situaciones limites en un encuentro de alto voltaje.

La semana pasada vivi ese episodio con el encuentro entre el Inter y el Barca, pero decidi no hablar de eso porque un poco de sentido comun creo tener, y pense que limitarme a escudarme de un pesimo arbitraje para justificar una derrota en la que claramente fue mas producto de un pauperrimo encuentro del Barca que por una mano no pitada en el ultimo minuto del partido me parece bastante cara dura, honestamente.

Pero hoy no, hoy la cosa es distinta, hoy me toco vivirlo con el AC Milan en el encuentro ante Chelsea. Al principio mencionaba la educacion, y es que, como es costumbre, suelo colocar un saludo general porque me gustan esas cosas. Pero bien podria haberme ido directo a señalar y a crucificar al arbitro de hoy; el aleman Siebert. Pero no es mi estilo.

Last week I lived this episode with the match between Inter and Barca, but I decided not to talk about it because I think I have a little common sense, and I thought that just hiding behind a bad refereeing to justify a defeat that was clearly more a product of a poor performance of Barca than a handball not whistled in the last minute of the match seems to me quite hard-faced, honestly.

OJO CON LOS ARBITROS QUE QUIEREN TODOS LOS FLASHES PARA ELLOS - WATCH OUT FOR THE REFEREES WHO WANT ALL THE FLASHES FOR THEMSELVES.

El miercoles de la semana pasada el Milan visito el Stamford Bridge de Londres, y ahi si no hubo decision arbitral que perjudicase al equipo de Pioli. El equipo dirigido por Potter Bailo al conjunto Rossoneri de principio a fin, 3 a 0 mentiroso de resultado, pues pudo haber sido 5, si nos ponemos reflexivos.

Hoy, el Milan recibia en el San Siro a los blues que jugaron vestidos de blanco. El fin de semana ganaron un partido ante la Juventus (que mal que anda la Juve... por cierto) clave en la lucha por mantenerse posicionado en el campeonato, y tambien en cuanto a moral y animos para afroontar el duelo clave de hoy. Krunic reemplazando a Pobega en el 11 inicial de hoy, a comparacion del partido pasado el sabado ante la juve.

Al principio, los de Pioli dominaban con la pelota en sus pies, mientras Chelsea se mantenia calmo sobre el terreno de juego esperando explotar las bandas con la velocidad de James-Mount y Chilwell-Sterling, para culminar con Aubameyang como 9 finalizador. Lo esperable, claro esta, con semejante rapidez de estos interpretes.

El Milan no estaba apabullando al Chelsea, pero si controlaba el partido a su placer. De hecho, el algun momento creia se veria un duelo tactico muy interesante; pues veria variables ofensivas en el Milan como Theo abandonando su posicion de Lateral Izquierdo y en ocasiones se le veia acompañando en el centro del campo a Bennacer, Tomori, por su parte, se tiraba a la banda izquierda para cubirir ese hueco. Esto permitia al Chelsea, en caso de romper lineas, encontarse con un Milan muy abierto en la zona defensiva. Y fue asi como llego llego la rotura, tambien, del encuentro.

Un Mount espectacular (en esa accion y en el partido en general) logro meterse a zona de definicion y Tomori lo retiene un poco, luego el Ingles se suelta y cuando ve que ya pierde el equilibrio, se tira. Y ahi el arbitro decidio cobrar penal. Aclaro: Penal puede ser, pues esas acciones en el medio de la cancha son cobrables. Solo que en el area si es penal, ¿cuantos penales no habrian por partido? los resultados de los encuentros serian basquetbolisticos, 108-96 por ejemplo. Pero lo recliminable fue la tarjeta roja. ¿ultimo hombre y cortar ocasion manifiesta de gol? no. ¿entrada demedida que pone en riesgo la integridad fisica del jugador? tampoco. Pues si, el arbitro decidio mostarle la tarjeta roja a Tomori, y con eso... el partido se desmorono por completo...

CONCLUSIONES FINALES Y DESPEDIDA - FINAL CONCLUSIONS AND FAREWELL

Aclaro una cosa, estimados lectores: No es que tenga una esfera magica en la que pueda visualizar que hubiese pasado si no... (ya quisiera tenerla, la verdad)

El Chelsea termino de sepultar el encuentro con una grandiosa jugada colectiva entre Kovacic, Mount y Auba. Y en el segundo tiempo fue generoso con el resultado -como en la ida- y pudo haber goleado, pero decidio irse por parsimonia a controlar la pelota y desgastar a los jugadores rossoneros que pocas ganas tenian de hacerle frente al encuentro. Por tal motivo, digo que el Chelsea fue un justo ganador y eso jamas ha estado en cuestion.

La indignacion nace de la falla arbitral en la que si no hubiese sucedido, completamente seguro de que, por lo menos, se habria competido mejor. Ya el año pasado al Milan le toco vivir algo similar en fase de grupos, cuando recibio al Atletico Madrid en la fecha 2. Expulsion bastante cuestionable de Kessie en el primer tiempo. Y en el ultimo minuto del partido, un penal inexistente a favor del Atletico (recuerdo la jugada, hubo mano de Kalulu en el area, pero esa mano se genera por una mano anterior de Carrasco), ahora vuelve a sucedir este episodio...

No soy arbitro, no tengo ganas de serlo, no conozco a la perfeccion el reglamento, entiendanme, al igual que a mi, alguna vez tambien se habran sentido indignados cuando los han "robado", futbolisticamente hablando. Y esa es la sensacion que me queda hoy.

No todo son malas noticias: Salzburgo empato ante Dinamo, y esto da un poco de alivio a pesar de que la clasificacion a 8vos empieza a complicarse. El grupo queda asi:

• Chelsea 7 pts
• Salzburgo 6 pts
• Milan 4 pts
• Dinamo 4 pts

A jugarsela toda para no quedar fuera, siendo el campeon de la Serie A, muy mala imagen seria esa. Lo mas proximo, ahora, sera el Hellas Verona, el domingo, de visita. Llegando asi al final de este post. ¡Muchas gracias por acompañar y nos seguiremos leyendo!

I am not a referee, I don't want to be one, I don't know the rules to perfection, understand me, just like me, you may also have felt indignant when you have been "robbed", footballistically speaking. And that is the feeling I have today.

It's not all bad news: Salzburg drew against Dinamo, and this gives a bit of relief even though qualification to the round of 16 is starting to get complicated. The group is as follows:
