Ya para la decada de los 90s la cosa se pondria mucho mejor, y con las flamantes contrataciones de Eric Cantona y Roy Keane, el equipo se impulsaria en confianza y empezarian a llegar los titulos. Para coronar la decada gloriosa, en el 99 el United alcanzaria el triplete, coronandose de forma increible y sublime en el Camp Nou, vs el Bayern Munich, de forma heroica y con esos partidos al mejor estilo de la pelicula GOL, con remontadas heroicas en los ultimos minutos del partido, el Manchester United, en esos momentos, era sin lugar a dudas, el mejor equipo del mundo...

Luego, para el periodo de 2000-2013, en Europa se convirtieron en un rival a temer, en los azares de los sorteos nadie queria visitar el teatro de los sueños, pues quien pisara ese terreno pretendiendo profanar a las locales, terminaria teniendo pesadillas, y ese nivel de respeto pocas veces es logrado por una plantilla. Cristiano Ronaldo se hacia presente en la mesa de los mejores jugadores del mundo, y en 2008, en Moscu, llegaria la segunda Uefa Champions League para los Red Devils, Ferguson era galardonado por la Reina Isabel II, como caballero, decirle Sir a Alex era, por compromiso y obligacion, un atributo bien merecido.

Sir Alex empezo a tener problemas de salud y ya habia dejado entredicho que su retiro estaria proximo, no obstante, eso no le privo ni a el ni a sus dirigidos seguir compitiendo de gran forma, pero se toparon con el Barcelona de Pep Guardiola en dos finales, saliendo el equipo cule campeon en ambas ocasiones, declarando Sir Alex que nunca se habia sentido tan dominado dentro de un campo de juego, tras la derrota en Wembley por alla en el año 2011.

En el año 2013 llegaria su retirada definitiva, y no podia ser de otro modo que yendose como lo que fue: un campeon. El titulo de la premier se le adjudicaba a los red devils, y de ahi en adelante, todo se empezo a complicar...

Asi se desglosan los años posteriores a la salida de Sir Alex:

• 2013: David Moyes fue el encargado de tomar las riendas de un club exitoso, la cosa empezo bien: El club ganaria la supercopa de Inglaterra, pero algo fallo en el camino, y Moyes no pudo siquiera terminar su mando frente al club en 1 temporada, Ryan Giggs, el historico mediocampista, asumia las riendas del club hasta el final de temporada.
• 2014/2015: Louis Van Gaal se haria cargo del banquillo de los diablos rojos, y aqui una opinion netamente personal: fue el que mas me gusto mientras estuvo, implanto una idea de juego bien definida, por momentos su futbol era vistoso, sus fichajes eran de peso, Di Maria, flamante campeon de UCL con el Real Madrid, llegaba a Inglaterra con ganas de comerse el mundo, pero esto no fue asi, y apenas duro 1 año vistiendo la camiseta del United, en cuanto a Van Gaal, pocos resultados lo acompañaron, y la directiva decidio prescindir de sus servicios sin ningun titulo en su haber.
• 2016/2018: El club penso en alguien de peso y trayectoria para comandar el barco, Jose Mourinho era el elegido, y este fue, a dia de hoy, el que mas exitos logro a nivel de trofeos: Un doblete en su primer año, con la supercopa de Inglaterra, y la Uefa Europa League, el United en ese momento reanimaba a su hinchada, pero claramente eso fue solo un espejismo, posterior a eso no llegaron titulos, y el desespero por resultados llevo a la directiva a tomar la decision de sacar al portugues del banquillo.
• 2018/2022: El heroe del Camp Nou, Ole Soslkjaer era nombrado DT de forma interina, y los resultados en principio fueron tan buenos que seria ratificado como el comandante del club en el banquillo, pero los resultados empezaron a tornarse muy negativos e insostenibles, perdidas en competencia europea, derrotas catastroficas contra rivales directos, Ole era despedido y en su lugar llegaria de forma interina el Austriaco Ragnick, quien es mas conocido por gestionar talentos en el puesto de director deporitvo, que de director tecnico, y eso no estuvo fuera de logica por lo mostrado en el campo, Ragnick nunca supo comandar al United, y por eso, una vez culminado su periodo, decidieron ir por ten Hag, quien venia de maravillosos años en Paises Bajos, al mando del Ajax de Amsterdam, con una filosofia de juego totalmente identificada. En principio, la contratacion del neerlandes genero demasiada ilusion, pero a dia de hoy nada ha cambiado para el United, siguen habiendo derrotas pesadas.

Es en especial un tanto llamativo como caras nuevas llegan, pero se repiten siempre los mismos episodios dentro del campo, y ojo, que el United no tiene malos futbolistas, pues cuentan en su ataque nada mas y nada menos que con Cristiano, quien no tengo que describirlo pues se sabe a la perfeccion la maquina que es el portugues,pero aun asi, no se consigue el funcionamiento, y los numeros no acompañan.

Algunos han llegado a utilizar el termino "maldicion", para referirse a que los pesimos resultados del Mancester United de forma consecutiva, y, a decir verdad, no difiero de eso. Sin llevarlo al punto de vuduu, ni nada paranormal, quiza maldicion sea un termino fuerte, pero bendicion no es tampoco.

El United es un club gigante de Inglaterra, y a opinion personal creo que se van a levantar de todos estos tropiezos, pues vengo de vivir algo parecido con el AC Milan, quien ya esta resurgiendo de sus cenizas. Paciencia es complicada pedir, pero apresurandose tampoco llegaran los objetivos. ten Hag no es un mal DT, si logra concretar los fichajes que esta pidiendo (Antony, Frenkie de Jong) no tendra excusa y el equipo debera surgir como el lo desea. Esperemos el cierre del mercado a ver con quien mas se refuerzan.
