Good afternoon, everyone!, Revisaba en la agenda futbolera los encuentros que serian transmitidos en la TV el dia de hoy, y me tope con el del Manchester United ante Everton, sin lugar a dudas decidi apartar un espacio para ver el encuentro por dos razones: El United es el equipo que enfrentara el Barcelona en Europa League en Febrero; hasta la fecha no había visto ninguno de sus juegos, pero si he estado enterado de que han venido en alza despues de un espantoso comienzo, de la mano de Ten Hag, y por otra razon, el Everton, quien en fin de año,logro sacarle un empate al City en Etihad, y me dije que si el cuadro dirigido por Lampard fue lo suficientemente osado para hacerle pinchar al City,seguramente su propuesta futbolistica tendría cosas mas que interesantes. Motivos suficientes para, visualizar un espectáculo ingles y aparte, nutrir mi repentina curiosidad. En este post a continuación, mis sensaciones y opinión del encuentro. ¡Acompañenme!

UN ANDAR MUY INTRAQUILO PARA TEN HAG - A VERY QUIET RIDE FOR TEN HAG.

Cuando se nombro a Erik Ten Hag como sucesor de Ragnick en el banquillo de Old Trafford las opiniones del mundo futbolero no dejaron de emitirse y hacerse sentir, teniendo en gran porcentaje de la balanza como negativos estos comentarios, que un tema de estilos, que no tiene peso en el vestuario, que no ha ganado nada, y pare de contar. Yo en lo particular creí que fue una decisión acertada, producto de mi afinidad por el buen juego que, históricamente, pregonan los neerlandeses. También porque fui particular espectador del Ajax que dirigió Ten Hag, exactamente en 2019, cuando maravillo a propios y extraños en aquella increíble Champions League que terminaría ganando el Liverpool de Klopp. Yo siempre he sido partidario de que los perdedores no los recuerda nadie, sin embargo con el paso de los años he ido confirmando que ciertos equipos entrañables que no lograron un objetivo de campeonar, han sido recordados de forma positiva. Ese Ajax lo fue.

Tras una gran pretemporada, todo indicaba que la decisión de otorgarle el mando de la platilla e Ten Hag era acertada, pero un paupérrimo inicio de liga destruyo todo lo bueno que se había realizado hasta la fecha, una derrota 4 a 0 ante Brentford encendía las alarmas en los Red Devils, y las turbulencias en el día a día hacían sentir un ambiente pesado en la previa de un encuentro que tenia tinte de ser decisivo para la continuidad del neerlandes en el banquillo. El United se enfrentaría al Liverpool, y, tras un gran planteamiento y con la inclusión de Lisandro Martinez en defensa, el equipo de Old Trafford lograba vencer al Liverpool y así obtener una cantidad de oxigeno importante para Ten Hag

Luego de eso, empezaron a encarrilar una buena racha de victorias, entre ellas sacarle el invicto a un Arsenal que a dia de hoy sigue siendo líder, pero empezaron a ocurrir problemas internos que fueron reflejandose en lo externo y por ende, en malos resultados: Cristiano Ronaldo no se sentía cómodo con el mandato de Ten Hag, y Ten Hag no se sentía cómodo con la presencia de Cristiano, en ocasiones la situación parecía haber mejorado, pero semanas posteriores dejaron demostrado que nunca hubo una buena relación entre ellos; jamas emití opinión al respecto de este tema, pues decidí llamarme a sosiego. Sin embargo puedo decir hoy que ambos tomaron la decisión acertada, Cristiano hoy goza de paz mental y seguramente volverá a sentirse futbolista, y el United ya no tiene encima ese peso de las malas miradas de un futbolista del calibre de Ronaldo.

Pero, si se fue Ronaldo, ¿con que o quien lo irían a reemplazar?

CUANDO LAS PAPAS QUEMAN, EL PASO AL FRENTE LO DA EL 10 - WHEN THE CHIPS ARE DOWN, THE STEP FORWARD IS TAKEN BY THE 10

Marcus Rashford irrumpio en el futbol ingles por el año 2016, cuando siendo un estudiante le toco debutar en la primera categoria del United, y el chico no desaprovecho sus oportunidades; su ascenso fue meteorico, y se llego a ganar el respeto de Sir Alex Ferguson, pero una grave lesion lo alejo de las canchas, y su confianza se vio extremadamente mermada cuando volvio a pisar los terrenos.

Esta temporada, cuando fue apartado Cristiano, el canterano ingles decidio dar un paso al frente; con el de hoy, ya son 5 partidos consecutivos marcando al menos 1 gol, y siendo importante en el resultado global de esos encuentros, Hoy, con una actuacion maravillosa, provoco los 3 goles del United.

Picante, encarador, asistidor, potente. Parece haber retomado la confianza, y eso es una gran noticia para el mundo del futbol, tener a Marcus sano representa un deleite para los ojos. En el mundial tambien se vio muy electrico, lo cual se traduce a que independientemente de la camiseta o la disposicion tactica que le toque asumir, esta siendo el mismo. Y a mi en lo particular me causa mucho agrado.

CONCLUSIONES FINALES Y DESPEDIDA - FINAL CONCLUSIONS AND FAREWELL

En lo que respecta al encuentro, el primer tiempo fue un autentico partidazo, Antony abria el marcador tras una asistencia maravillosa de Rashford, e inmediantamente el conjuto de Lampard se lanzo al ataque a buscar el empate, primero, Gray con un disparo potente estrella la pelota en el palo, y luego, tras una decepcionante actuación de De Gea (que llevaba un buen rato sin ser el malo de la película) se consumaba el empate de Coady anticipando a Dalot.

Bruno se vio muy ansioso y en algunos roces a punto de ser expulsado por doble amarilla, del lado del Everton, Iwobi me decepciono demasiado, tanto así que Lampard tuvo las mismas sensaciones y en el entretiempo lo cambio enseguida.

En el segundo tiempo se diluyo mucho la algarabia; apenas un desborde de Rasford y la mala fortuna de Coady que empujaba en propia puerta la pelota, y de ahi en mas, poco y nada del encuentro en general, un empate del Everton faltando minutos para finalizar, pero tras un claro offiside de Gray, el VAR anulo el gol.

Garnacho entro al encuentro y se hizo sentir inmediatamente, ya a lo ultimo encaro hacia la portería contraria y le cometerían penal, que no seria desaprovechado por Rashford para el 3 a 1 definitivo.

El encuentro, como dije, en el primer tiempo me pareció un espectáculo, y para el segundo tiempo el control del partido entre Casemiro, Bruno y Eriksen privaron al Everton de hacer daño, si el United continua con esta buena racha sera complicado que no se metan de forma definitiva en puestos de Champions (esta 4to con un partido menos), y, con lo intratable que esta Rashford, todos los caminos indican que pueden tener un buen cierre de temporada.
