My Actifit Report Card: December 19 2022 / More Snow!
I wake up to 30cm of snow this morning. I knew this was coming according to the weather forecast so I took a day off from work. Our city isn't used to this kind of weather, although it seems like happening every winter in recent years. I've heard that there are only 2 snow plows in the city.
I went out to take my daily walk as usual. The ground were covered with power snow, but the sidewalks were mostly clear of snow.
朝起きたら外が雪で大変なことになっていました。一晩で30センチくらい積もりました。
天気予報で分かっていたことなので仕事は休むと伝えておいたのに、６時半にわざわざ「今日は寝坊してもいいよ」というメールを送ってくるうちのボス… 勘弁してくれよ。目が覚めたじゃないか！しかも一通では済まず朝からスマホがピコピコうるさい！笑
私の住むところは雪に慣れていなくて毎回大変なことになるんです。ここ最近は毎年たくさん降るのでもう少し準備できないものなのかと思うのですが… 近所の人の話では除雪車が2台しかないとか。
雪ですが、いつも通り散歩に行ってきました。歩道は雪かきがしてあって歩くのはそれほど大変ではありませんでした。
I shoveled snow in the morning as well. I live in the apartment so I shoveled just a little so that everyone can get in and out. It was a good excercise. My teenager came out to see the icicles. Something is wrong in these photos… Her room is kept around 20 Celsius because she shares her room with her parakeet. It was minus 7 Celsius outside lol.
朝イチで（起こされたので）アパートの周りの雪を少しかきました。いい運動です。
大きなつららがあるよ〜と言ったら我が家のティーンが出てきました。今週から冬休みなのでダラダラしています。少々絵柄がオカシイですね。次女ちゃんの部屋にはオズ（インコ）がいるので暖かいんですよ。２０度以下にしない方がいいみたいなので。外はマイナス７度ですけどね、笑 今朝リビングは８度でした🥶

こちらは今4℃ですが、ものすごく寒く感じます。カナダ憧れるけど私は住めなそう。。🥲
この後は一歩も外に出なかったですけどね。小さい頃は雪が降ると雪遊びがしたくて、それに付き合うのが大変だったのにちょっと寂しいです。
バンクーバーは全然寒くない方ですよ。夏は涼しくていいですよ〜☺️
