My Actifit Report Card: December 3 2023 / 雨上がりの散歩

Yesterday was a beautiful day, but the rain that started last night did not stop in the morning. It was not cold, but it looked like I would be soaked if I went out. So I decided to wait and see and start the day slowly (Sunday).

My eldest daughter was already heading to work, and my youngest daughter was hanging out with Oz, the parakeet. I'm glad that they both finish their breakfast on their own.

Oz is a parakeet that came to us around May or June last year. He is cute, but a little different from the "cute parakeets” I know. My youngest daughter takes care of him but he still won't let my daughter to pet him, and he hasn't learned the words yet. When he is out of the cage, he seems to do whatever he wants, biting my daughter and raiding her figurine collection. He does not perch on the fingers yet, we need to wait until he gets bored and returns to his cage...he is a very cute self-centered parakeet lol.
He loves Pepper (our cat) and was trying to make friends with a stuffed toy, Totoro the other day. It was cute to see him talking to it.

Anyways, my family is doing their own thing, and since it stopped raining and the sun suddenly came out close to noon, I decided to go out for a walk.

I walked along my usual walking route. I always wonder how many people use Move2Earn apps like Actifit and STEPN.... I feel sorry for those who don't know about it. It feels like a waste to walk for free…Actifit doesn't reward you if you don't post, but it's still not the same as walking for free…

By the way, my STEPN income is about $6 Canadian for walking 55 minutes a day. It’s not a lot but I’m not walking for free. I could walk more and earn more...but I've found that my body and mind can't keep up with it. 55 minutes is just right for me. if you look on X (Twitter) you'll see people who walk or run for 100 minutes or more every day. I have nothing but respect for them.

As I walked by the tennis court, I noticed some art on the fence. I didn't stop to read what it was...which is typical of me (I was probably thinking about something while walking, and a STEPNer can't stop you know, lol), but the sun was reflecting off the ground after the rain and the artwork looked brighter and beautiful.

After passing this tennis court and crossing the road, I’m home. A 55 minutes walk is nothing but good even though I wasn’t earning crypto after all.

昨日はとても良いお天気だったのに、夜から降り出した雨が朝になっても止まず、寒くはないのですが、出かけたらびっしょりどころじゃなさそうだったので様子を見ることにしてゆっくりな朝を過ごしました（日曜日）

長女は仕事で、次女ちゃんはインコのオズとゴロゴロしていたようです。二人とも勝手に朝ごはんを済ませてくれるので助かります。

オズは昨年の5月か6月頃、我が家にやってきたインコです。
可愛いのですが、私の知っている“可愛いインコ“ とは少し違って面白いヤツです。次女ちゃんには慣れていますが、いまだになでなではさせてもらえず、言葉も覚えません。放鳥時はやりたい放題の様子で、噛まれたりフィギュアのコレクションを荒らされたり、指にはとまってくれないので飽きてケージに帰るまで待たないといけないという…なんとも自己中なインコです。

ペッパー（我が家の猫）が大好きで、先日トトロのぬいぐるみとも友達になろうとしていました。一生懸命話しかけていたのが可愛かったです。

さてさて、家族は勝手にやってるし、昼ごろ雨が止んで突然太陽が出てきたので散歩に出かけることにしました。
実は少し前に風邪をひいてから咳が良くならなくて困っているのですが、調子はいいのです。散歩をするとさらに気分が良いのですが咳が止まらないというよくわからない体調です。

いつもの散歩コースを歩きました。どれくらいの人がActifitなどのMove2Earnアプリを使っているのだろう…といつも思います。タダで歩いている人はもったいないです。Actifitは投稿しないと報酬になりませんが、それでもタダで歩いているのとは違います。タダで歩くなんて勿体無い！！！！😤
ちなみに私のSTEPN収入は1日55分歩いて600円くらいです。もっと歩いたら…と思いますが、これ以上は身体も精神もついていけないことが分かったので、私はこれでいい！に落ち着きました。X（Twitter）を覗くと毎日100分以上歩いたり走ったりしている方がいますが、もうそういう方は神ですね。投資額も半端じゃないと思うのですが、尊敬しかないです。

いつものテニスコートの側を通るとフェンスにアートが飾られているのに気づきました。なんだろう…と立ち止まって読まないところが私らしいのですが（多分色々考えながら歩いてた、そしてSTEPNerは止まれない、笑）写真だけは撮りました。雨上がりの地面に太陽が反射してアートがさらに素敵に見えました。

このテニスコートを横切って道路を渡ると家に着きます。55分の散歩道、季節と共に変わる空気を感じながら歩くことが出来ました。
