Weight loss kick off!
I have been skipping the gym for too long.
I have been eating and over eating way too often.
It's time to switch it up and get back on track.
As you get busy with life and kids and work something has to give. I have been giving up going to the gym way too often. So yesterday I sat down with my wife and made some goals. I know that I am going to have to give up some of my down and free time to hit the gym but I am happier when I do that. Here are the goals I am starting with.
3 - 30 minutes walk a week.
3 - 45 minute weight lifting sessions a week.
No eating after 7pm.
As I have gone through multiple ups and downs with working out and eating healthy I think these 3 goals help me the most. Most of my over eating happens late and night. It kills me i think and I got bed not feeling good and leads to poor sleep more often than not. So stopping at 7 has worked great in the past and keeps me on track for the most part.
I have lost my gym partner. He likes to workout right at 5pm after work but I am never free then. I am usually at work or at one of my kids sporting events. So I plan on keeping a record here of what i do and how my progress is. I will post regularly and do it keep me accountable.
Probably not the most fun posts to read but I will try to share a health tip with each update that I am using during my journey.
