Jornada 23 de la premier league la cita nos llevó al Craven Cottage la casa del Fulham en donde recibía al Nottingham Forest que llegaba de ganarle al Leeds United por 1-0 teniendo como figura nada más y nada menos que Keylor Navas, el nuevo arquero del conjunto del Nottingham que llego en el reciente mercado de invierno. En frente el local el cual llego de una sufrida victoria vs Sunderland por la FA CUP donde se clasificaron tras un apretado 3-2.
El conjunto del Fulham logro ganarle el partido de ida al Nottingham por un 2-3, ambos equipos llegaron a la fecha con la necesidad de una victoria, el local para seguir pisando fuerte para entrar a las competiciones europeas y el visitante para no perder puntos y caer en los puestos de abajo.
