Luego de un empate en casa del Fulham vs Sunderland dejo un poco en Knockout al equipo local, el cual debía disputar el replay tras un amargo empate, lo cual no gusto mucho al entrenador Marco Silva por el apretado calendario y los partidos que suelen jugarse sin descanso, en cambio, el Sunderland vio una esperanza más para intentar dar la sorpresa en su campo como locales y poder avanzar a la siguiente ronda.
