Hace algunos días leí un texto muy corto titulado La Carta a García del escritor estadounidense Elbert Hubbard. Es un libro bastante corto el cual me gusto bastante por su mensaje lleno de motivación que puede convertirse en una gran herramienta de superación y crecimiento personal. Después de leerlo he reflexionado bastante sobre él y hoy estoy feliz de compartir estos pensamientos con ustedes.
Este libro hace alusión a Rowan, la única persona capaz de entregar la carta a García. García era un General que se encontraba en Cuba y en medio de la guerra entre España y Estados Unidos era urgente que el Presidente de la Unión Americana se comunicase con él. Cuando comencé a leer esto, pensé que el escrito no me gustaría para nada; sin embargo, a medida que avanzaba entre las líneas comprendí la intención del autor, quien señala a Rowan como el verdadero héroe de la Independencia, porque sin importar que, como y cuando cumplió con su deber: Llevar el Mensaje a García.
Cada párrafo de este libro, hace un llamado al hacer las cosas bien, a cumplir con nuestros deberes, a ser como Rowan que sin importar todas las situaciones hostiles que tuvo que enfrentar logro encontrar a García y entregarle el mensaje que determinaría la Independencia de Cuba.
El autor compara la historia de Rowan con la realidad existente en la mayoría de las empresas, incluso en la vida diaria y expresa un mensaje muy claro si deseas tener éxito en la vida. Si deseas conseguir y mantener un gran empleo, si deseas crecer como persona, debes ser una persona diligente, tener iniciativa, hacer las cosas bien y cumplir con tus responsabilidades.
Casualmente, la misma semana que leí este libro, un profesor de la Universidad nos hablaba en su clase de la importancia de tener iniciativa, de trabajar día a día en lograr la eficiencia en cada cosa que desempeñemos. Esto es un factor realmente determinante para lograr el éxito en cada ámbito de nuestras vidas.
Siempre he pensado que la suerte es algo que se construye, el éxito no llega por casualidad, el éxito es el resultado del esfuerzo, de la preparación diaria y constante, de la disciplina, del querer hacer las cosas bien, todo incrustado en los valores personales y en la ética.
Es un gran libro para leer y reflexionar, además es una lectura muy rápida que ha dejado en mí una gran enseñanza y me ha motivado a seguir preparándome, a seguir mejorando con la premisa del que obra bien le va bien. Definitivamente, quiero ser de esas personas capaces de llevar un mensaje a los infinitos Garcías del Mundo porque a estas personas nunca les falta el pan sobre la mesa.
🦋 Deja a un lado las excusas.
No sé hacerlo, no puedo, no me corresponde, no me pagan para eso, en fin. Dejemos a un lado todas esas excusas negativas, que nos impide desarrollarnos y crecer como personas. Dejemos de subestimarnos porque cada uno tiene capacidades y talentos que pueden llegar a sorprendernos.
👩💼 Nunca dejes de Prepararte.
Todo en la vida, requiere preparación, estudiar, aprender haciendo, ser constante, de la práctica nace el maestro como dicen por ahí. Que la oportunidad no nos agarre desprevenidos.
👪 Toma la Iniciativa.
Tomar la iniciativa es importante, el autor define la iniciativa como hacer, lo que se debe hacer, bien hecho y sin que nadie lo mande. Estoy de acuerdo con esto, además debemos tomar la iniciativa para dirigir nuestra vida, tener esa iniciativa de aprender, de emprender, de innovar, de crear, ir un paso adelante de las circunstancias.
🌹 Trabaja con Ética
Podemos tener mucho talento, pero sin ética, perdemos todo el valor, ser honesto es fundamental para alcanzar el éxito pero sobre todo para mantenerlo.
👠 Haz las cosas bien.
Ponerle corazón a cada cosa que realicemos en la vida, hacer las cosas con amor, con empeño, para que todo salga bien.

A few days ago I read a very short text entitled The Letter to García by the American writer Elbert Hubbard. It is a fairly short book which I quite liked for its message full of motivation that can become a great tool for self-improvement and personal growth. After reading it I have reflected quite a bit on it and today I am happy to share these thoughts with you.
This book alludes to Rowan, the only person capable of delivering the letter to Garcia. García was a General who was in Cuba and in the midst of the war between Spain and the United States it was urgent that the President of the American Union communicate with him. When I started reading this, I thought that I would not like the writing at all; however, as he progressed between the lines, he understood the author's intention, who points to Rowan as the true hero of Independence, because no matter what, how and when he fulfilled his duty: Carrying the Message to García.
Each paragraph of this book makes a call to do things well, to fulfill our duties, to be like Rowan who, regardless of all the hostile situations he had to face, managed to find García and deliver the message that would determine the Independence of Cuba.
The author compares Rowan's story with the reality that exists in most companies, even in daily life and expresses a very clear message if you want to be successful in life. If you want to get and keep a great job, if you want to grow as a person, you must be a diligent person, have initiative, do things well and fulfill your responsibilities.
Coincidentally, the same week that I read this book, a University professor spoke to us in his class about the importance of taking initiative, of working day by day to achieve efficiency in everything that we perform This is a really determining factor to achieve success in every area of our lives.
I have always thought that luck is something that is built, success does not come by chance, success is the result of effort, of daily and constant preparation, of discipline, of wanting do things right, all embedded in personal values and ethics.
It is a great book to read and reflect on, it is also a very quick read that has left me with a great teaching and has motivated me to continue preparing myself, to continue improving with the premise of what works well he's doing well. Definitely, I want to be one of those people capable of taking a message to the infinite Garcias of the World because these people never lack bread on the table.

I don't know how to do it, I can't, it's not up to me, they don't pay me for that, anyway. Let's put aside all those negative excuses, which prevent us from developing and growing as people. Let's stop underestimating ourselves because each one of us has abilities and talents that can surprise us.

Everything in life requires preparation, studying, learning by doing, being constant, the teacher is born from practice as they say. Don't let the opportunity catch you off guard.

Taking the initiative is important, the author defines the initiative as doing, what should be done, well done and without anyone ordering it. I agree with this, we must also take the initiative to direct our lives, have that initiative to learn, to undertake, to innovate, to create, to go one step ahead of the circumstances.
