Yesterday's Evening Adventures: Farm Work & Insect Encounters! | My Actifit Report Card: June 12

Good morning, everyone! Although it's past midnight now, these activities were all part of my fantastic day yesterday. I had a really active day, especially in the evening!
My afternoon started with some chores around the house – fetching water and helping mum hang out the washed clothes. After that, I enjoyed a nice walk, taking in the surroundings.
Later, I headed to the farm, primarily to gather some of that "Iyanapaja" (tree spinach) that I mentioned in my earlier post. While I was there, I couldn't resist observing some of the other fascinating creatures around!

I managed to snap a few pictures of what looked like a beautiful butterfly, or perhaps a moth, resting on the foliage. I also spotted some other tiny, intriguing organisms fluttering or crawling around. It's always amazing what you can find when you take a moment to look closely.

It was a truly rewarding evening, combining some farm work with some rewarding nature observations. Hope you all had a great day too!

Nice!
If you take a few moments to see when the insect will look more clear in the photo (let mobile focus on the subject), your insect shots will be even better!

Thanks for the tip but I think it's my phone's camera. It's not clear when I zoom in and I didn't want them flying again.
It took time before those guys could stay calm. I even lost a 🐞, 😂.

Ok good, then lets try to find the best way around this.
When you zoom (with any mobile), the resolution decreases.
What I suggest is:

  • when you see a bug, take a quick shot and then slowly, quietly, try to get closer and as steady as possible. always make sure that the camera lenses are clear too. Have a soft clean clothe to make them clean.
