Sunflower raw & Actifit August 3 2022

I was driving yesterday on a dirt road very close to a field of Sunflowers, as the prices of oil exploded in the past few months more and more people are replacing other usual cultures on their fields with Sunflower plants which can be used to produce oil, animal fodder and in some cases even bio-diesel fuel.

I remember that when I was a kid with other kids as well, we were picking big chunks of the most matured plants and just eating the seeds raw without any complications like baking or salting them. I tried this one yesterday, the plant is not ripe enough and the seeds feel too raw, they'll need a few more days until they reach maturity.
