Old newspapers & Actifit May 8 2023
I found these newspapers cuts in a short article, and this comparison came to mind source here. The issues with photocopiers in the 1960s are similar to concerns about AI today. People were worried about losing income and control over their work. Looking back, it wasn't that bad, was it? It shows that we need to adapt and find a balance with AI too, just like we had to with any other tech advancement.

Spot on my friend......
People fear new technologies, nothing new under the sun!
Just like the automobile to the horse and buggy, the nail gun to the hammer, and cryptocurrency to the banking industry.....
AI, whether anyone likes it or not, is here to stay!😄
Just like you stated, we need to adapt and find a balance!😄
Now where did I put my new BRC-20 tokens....Lol😇
To some people, this might sound alien! ;))
Over in the U.S. I think it’s aliens to most people Lol!😇🤣
People fear what they do not know about or understand.
People who raised horses for a living probably felt the same way about the automobile. People also fear change.
How about the typewiter versus the word processer (early computer like) and now the computer? Now, we all have computers in the palms of our hands!
This isn't to say that everything is for the good or the bad. To shut the door because of fear, well, that's not going to get us anywhere!
You are right; it was not as bad as they made it out to be.
Thanks for sharing friend!
In many parts of this country, some people still prefer horses to cars or tractors... 😄
It's not necessarily a bad thing!😁
