A different kind of fence made out of boulders, I don't think I've ever seen something similar before. It makes me wonder, were the boulders brought here for a different purpose and ended up becoming a fence, or was this the plan all along.

I have seen this before, we have friends that have cabins for rent on the eastern side of the mountains and the Husband Earl created a wall out of boulders to block the river from coming to the cabin. Wish I had a picture. Have a great day!
Well he had a useful idea, them boulders had a purpose apart from just being a fence. 🙂

I remember him complaining about how difficult it was to stack boulders with his tractor!😲
They get used a lot around here as retaining walls; simply stacked-no mortar. It makes for interesting and rustic boundaries.
