Horses & Actifit November 20 2023

This place is not far from the village where I grew up; since communist times, they were breeding horses so good that many Arab countries used to import them. Now, not so much, but they still have horses and tourists can go for a ride with them. They are kept indoors, of course, but here they get accustomed to the new weather and temperatures, plus it's feeding time as well.

Horses are strange animals…… We owned three in Colorado!😀
They had a beautiful barn to go into, yet preferred to stand out in the snowstorm!🙄
We even put blankets on them, or I should say, tried, they hated blankets as well!
By the time we gave up, trying to put the blanket on, both the horses and us were totally exhausted Lol!🤣☺️

Do you have an idea if horses feel cold or not?
I would love to know that

Horses have always had a place in my heart! We've had 3 total, and I loved them all. One of them was an Arabian who had a family tree longer than mine, lol! He was beautiful; white with the longest tail that dragged the ground! Quite the spirited guy and literally was almost the death of me once, but he was a sweetheart. Jack and Piti (short for Wapiti, which is Shawnee for elk), were a pair we had which were Quarter horses. I loved them all!

Nice job with your 8065 @actifit steps for the day. Take care! !LADY

Yes horses are cool, and I think they are way smarter than many people think.

They are very smart. I know when I had my horseback riding accident on Radar, that he knew I'd been hurt. I was the only one who could walk up to him and hug him around the neck. Everyone else had to watch as he'd throw his head around. He was a special horse.

I believe that animals in general are much smarter than people give them credit for. I see it every time I turn around.

Take care!
