Another day, another fire, at least that's what a firefighter would say. We, the commoners, don't get to see one every day, but they do happen so often in different locations in the county and it mostly involves older buildings or older people. It's either a malfunction with the heating stove/exhaust system or with improper old electrical installations. Well, nobody got hurt and they'll have it easier now with the demolition of the old house. :)

Most probably he has because at least some basic house insurance is mandatory for homeowners here.

It is good that no one was hurt. People tend to try to go back in to get prized possessions or things they feel can't be replaced!
