Old houses & Actifit April 6 2024
I posted about the outside design of these houses before, they are mostly found in one particular village this being their main attraction and pride to talk about. I have a few more images and I'll post them in 2 batches today and tomorrow. Enjoy your weekend!

Reason? Just to show off :))) Probably just one of them started it and then it caught on, all them houses are in the same village. The designs are "traditional motifs" which also appear on traditional clothes and so on... the funny thing is that the local council made it compulsory that if you build a house in that village, you have to add such traditional designs to your walls. :))
Sounds like they want to stand out from the traditional housing builds😊

We have it over here as well. We have a town called Leavenworth, Washington and it is a German theme town.
Everyone is required to build in the traditional Bavarian style. 😊

yeah, Leavenworth is well known. :)) This village, called Ciocanesti, is also well known, you can even have a quick look on Trip Advisor:

ALL the houses in that village have such designs :)) I think 2-3 of the really old ones were transformed into museums, but the rest are all privately owned and people live in them.
That's good that they are still homes. It would be sad to think they all stood empty.
