Chilean dancers & July 7 2025
People from 15,000km or almost 10,000 miles away walked the streets of my town. There was a local festival and these people were invited to perform, they say they come from Easter Island which is an island in the Pacific Ocean about 3,500km (2,000 miles) from the coast of Chile, but they don't really look like Easter Island locals, maybe they're just from Chile and were performing traditional dances from the Easter Island.

Greetings, many people came out and watch them, it seems it is an annual stuff, and the people were aware that the celebration was going to take place.
But what is the name of this place in the city, is it the center of your city?, I like how open is the space, that it contains people.
The photos are beautiful.

I wonder what motivated them to travel so far?
I think they are/were on a tour, possible multiple countries in Europe. Also like others before them, its very possible that they are residents in Spain, so probably not coming from that far. :)))

Did they charge anything to watch, or was it just donations?
They were paid by the city hall, that weekend there was a festival, the City Days were celebrated.
