My Actifit Report Card: September 27 2023

Hey there Actifiters, we're halfway through the work week and I hope everyone is having a good one!

For my activity today I went for a walk. It was raining this morning, but by this afternoon it had partially cleared up. I find the mix of clouds and sunshine is actually really beautiful.

It was really nice to step away from work for a bit. I needed the break. Today especially, I found it helpful to walk, pray, and meditate. Walking often affords me time to do that but I don't always take at other points during the day.

I'm trying to make a point of it to be on my phone less while I walk and to use the time to clear my head, pray, and meditate. Otherwise if I'm on my phone I feel like I'm just wasting the time away.

My walk ended up being just over a mile. They got me thinking that maybe I'll set that as a new goal. I haven't always tracked the distance of my walks, but I think I'm going to start trying to do that more and posting that as a part of my activity log. Time permitting, I'd like to work up to 2 miles. We'll see how that goes, and if both time and the weather allows me to achieve that.
