My Actifit Report Card: April 10 2025

Hey Actifiters!

It's been a pretty busy week at work with recruiting to replace one of my supervisors who is leaving in a month. The recruiter I'm working with though has been really great which has made the process so much better this time around.

Baseball in season is underway and all three of my kids are playing this year. I'm helping with both teams which is a fair amount of work, but I am loving it so far! It's so fun to help these kids learn how to play baseball. It's a bit ironic when I think about it though because I have never been that much of a baseball player or baseball fan. But every time I help coach it gives me a great appreciation for the game and makes me want to play more and watch it more.

The weather has certainly turned around this week. Today was sunny almost all day long. I was able to get my walk routine in today this afternoon. It was really nice to take a little bit of a break from sitting at my desk and being on screens most of the day. It certainly was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the scenery and all of the beautiful flowers that are starting to bloom.

The orchards are in full bloom now and although I'm a little biased, I think it's one of the most beautiful things. You'll see. Rows upon rows of trees with beautiful white blossoms.

My walk today was a little over a mile. Which given I was trying to keep it a shorter break, was pretty good :)
