40th Birthday at 2300 Feet! My Actifit Report Card: July 7 2025

Hey Actifiters, yesterday was my 40th birthday! I got to celebrate with my family by taking the Alyeska Tram up the mountain and enjoyed a great lunch together. I was a little bummed the weather wasn't great - it obscured the view quite a bit, but it was still fun. And I got to spend it with people I love so that made it special.

The tram runs to a viewpoint and restaurant at 2300 feet. It was a bit scary, but still fun to be that high up. Definitely not something I get to do every day.

We also got to tour through the conservation center and see a lot of interesting animals.

It was quite the experience being so close to bears and wolves.

The day was a ton of fun and a great way to be active - exploring and adventuring with my family!
