A Step in the Right Direction - My Actifit Report Card: October 14 2025
Hey Actifiters!
In my most recent post, I talked about how I wasn't able to get much activity in last week. With the new week though, I'm working toward getting back into regular activity. Work continues to be busy, but I am reminded recently that doing things I want to do (or need to do for that matter) is often not a matter of the time, but rather about my priorities.
The obvious priorities are work and family. I am often prone to forget about my health though. It's ironic when I think about that though, because my health has a direct impact on everything else. I'll say some days that I don't have time, but I bet if I were to look at how I spent my time those days, there would certainly be moments that I spent sucked into meaningless things on my phone or computer. I'm not sure if you can relate, but there are definitely times I find myself sucked into YouTube and Instagram. Those short videos are easy for me to forget how much time I'm spending zoning out. I'm working to be more mindful of that
All that to say this week I have been taking some steps, literally 🙂
I only was able to make time for a short walk yesterday, partly due to the weather - it rained the most of the day. Today was much nicer though and so I made it a priority to take a break and get a walk in. Certainly was a beautiful fall all day and perfect way to get some activity in, a step forward towards being healthy.

If we count those idle times spent watching reels on social media, we'd be ashamed to say we don't have enough time during the day.
I try not to get caught up in it, and sometimes I even set an alarm on my phone to remind me that I'm only going to invest a little in it.
Yes, I'm realizing as I get older that time is the most valuable resource I have.
That's a great idea to set an alarm.
