Workout Friday (feeling old) - My Actifit Report Card: November 21 2025

Happy Friday Actifiters!

I woke up today about 5:00 a.m. well before my alarm. I have been wanting to get up earlier so that I would have some more time in the morning to work out, read and pray, and try and get out of the house a little earlier to start my work day earlier. So by God's grace I was able to get up and out of bed shortly after waking up and got my day started.

I started with a workout, which was good because it showed me how extremely out of shape I am currently. It felt sad how hard it was for me to do some stretches and exercises. Definitely made me feel old... At the same time, that reinforced my desire to look for more opportunities to work out. I turned 40 this year and as I've posted about before, I want to get in better shape so that at least as far as it is in my control I can be in better health as I continue to age.

Continuing my efforts to exercise and be healthier, I took my regular lunch break walk around the duck ponds. It has surely been cold this week, but still nice to spend a little break outside getting my steps in.

Like I said earlier, working out and walking, they are steps I am trying to take to be healthier. And often serve themselves as reminders of why I need to be more active and continue taking steps toward being healthier.
