My Actifit Report Card: January 15 2026
Hey Actifiters!
I had a pretty busy week at work and the weather has been really cold (for Medford at least). So other than walking with Sasha after work one day this week, I haven't really been doing a good job of keeping my active routine going.
Today though, I planned a little bit in advance and brought a heavier jacket to work so that I could walk even though it was chilly.

The walk was good, though. My hands were definitely freezing by the end of it. I guess I need to also have some gloves when I'm outside this time of year. It was great to be active and I certainly needed it for both my body and my brain. A healthy step for me today. So I'm glad about that.
On other health fronts, this past week, I've realized I really need more discipline and a better bedtime routine and getting to bed at a decent time. I know it's something I've talked about before, but this past week I have had several elite nights that cut into my sleep. Looking back on the week I can see why. Some days there's so much going on that by the end of the day when I should be getting ready for bed and go to bed. I haven't had any time to I guess do the things I want to do or fun things! So instead of doing the sensical thing and healthy thing of of just going to bed anyways cuz I need the sleep, I stay up too late to do some of the things that I wanted to do or some of the fun things I enjoy. I guess I'm wrestling with myself a little bit on that. I want to be healthier, and part of that is getting the sleep I need. So I guess on those really busy days I need to be okay calling it a day. Even if I haven't gotten to enjoy some time to myself. I think it's a matter of choosing my health over choosing entertainment.
