Hello skatehive! Greece's Carnival known as "Apokria" officially starts tomorrow. Apokria, is a period which traditional begins a few weeks before Greek orthodox Easter. The Greek name "Apokria" means absention from meat, because after that, the period of Easter lent begins. Ths festival dates back to Dionysos, the ancient Greek god of wine, fun and fertility.
The characteristic of Apokria is disquising and wearing costumes and masks that offers anonymity and freedom of expression. In this video, you will watch a skate contest in which, parents with their kids and disquised skaters are sharing with us good vibes. Enjoy!!!!
