Just another day surrounded by epic street art (and advertisements) here in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NYC! It felt good to get back in the classroom on Monday and work with my students after a few weeks away for vacation and surgery.

With walking still a bit stressful on my bits, I'm definitely taking the elevator at school, which is robbing me of that added exercise of walking 4 flights on stairs several times a day. After school, I had a dinner date with my mom, so I picked a local pizza joint that is right off my local bus route.

Roberta's is the most highly regarded pizzaria in my neighborhood, and there is tons of fun street art in the hood. Not much happened on my way home, so I'll leave you with a few more pics of the cool art I saw while out and about yesterday.
