The Last Hurrah -- Actifit Report Card: August 19, 2025

Boy, do I still wish I was back at the beach... but the reality is that Tuesday was my last day of school prep before our scholars return to the building on Wednesday. I had some time to plan with my grade team, some time to plan with my math co-teacher, and time to finish cleaning my classroom.

The highlight of the day was a slamming taco spread for last hot lunch before the crush of the school day. Steak fajita, picadillo, guacamole, refried black beans, rice, and of course, some Hawke Sauce for the culture.

Even without chasing students around, I managed to break 10K on the day. Skibidi! Haha jkjk as if. These kids are coming. It is gonna be cracked. I'm ready to cook in the math classroom. I've got a strong staff alongside me and an eager co-teacher to help me. The curriculum is tight. Team Crush is in the house. Until next time...
