Lost Lands Day 2 & 3 -- Actifit Report Card: September 19 + 20, 2025

There's not much to say about my actual step count since I don't have the actifit app running in the background. I just can't afford to lose all that battery power draining with the app running full time to track my steps while at this fest. It's such a shame because last year, I put up consecutive 30K days during Lost Lands.

Friday, we made it into the festival at 4pm to see Cyclops, a dubstep artist my partner and I have missed so many times at other fests. This was the first time we got to see him, and he was great on the mainstage. Then we headed over to see Josh Teed, a talented producer who also plays the violin live during his sets. It was such a vibe back in the woods of the Forest Stage.

Then we got to see a bit of Slander playing their sunset set, but my group wasn't about all their corny yelling on the mic, so we left pretty quickly. There was a surprise guest on the main stage and it turned out to be Dillon Francis. It was like he turned back the clock 10 years, playing a bunch of his old trap tunes. It was great, such a throwback for me.

We finished the night with Tape B and a 2 hour set from Excision, which had the most insane visuals I've ever seen, complete with fireworks and a drone show (at the same time)! I was feeling a bit under the weather, so I didn't stick around for any of the afters.

On Saturday, I woke up at noon to catch the live audio of the Chelsea v. Man U match. It was an ugly game for my Blues. Keeper got a red card in the first 5 minutes and United bagged two goals in the first 30 minutes. Chelsea didn't even have a shot on goal until after the hour mark. It was a contest I was hoping to soon forget.

Well, Saturday's insane Lost Lands lineup went a long way to help me forget that awful loss. We started the day with Distinct Motive at main stage before heading to Wompy Woods for a big run of sets. It started with Funt Case, then LAYZ, and we finished out Wompy Woods with an epic sunset set from Illenium. He definitely went in harder than usual for the dubstep festival, which was greatly appreciated.

We headed over to mainstage to see Crankdat, Wooli, and LSZEE to close
Once again, we loved the set from Wooli, who brought a ton of new edits and VIPs that he didn't play the month before at Elements. I was a little bummed that LSZEE didn't play my favorite track theirs, CloZee's edit of "Eternal Now." That set ended at midnight, so I'll save Saturday's afters for Sunday. Signing off for now with my paltry 2K steps. Until next time...
