POCHETTINO HAILS ENGLAND AND SPAIN, CALLS THEM THE BEST
Mauricio Pochettino says if he returns to football management, he would prefer to move to Premier League or La Liga. The former Tottenham boss is on a management break since he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspurs in November 2019. He guided Tottenham to their first-ever Champions League final.
Pochettino is still open to another premier league move. Reports say that Barcelona had considered Pochettino before Quique Setien was appointed. Manchester United is also said to be interested in Pochettino.
He says he is glad to have begun his coaching career in Barcelona then moving to England to learn about different cultures.
He asserted that football was born in England but that Spain is doing well football-wise. He says Spain has continued to prove its worth in the football world. He said England and Spain house the two best leagues in the world.
